Camp sites have a trail near by that leads to the river. Not too far and easily able to take cooler and other supplies. Not to far of a walk if you need to go back to grab something from your campsite. Camp sites have fire pit cooking grates that flip over and come down, adjustable hight for cooking. They do have showers 🚿 however if you want hot water you do have to pay. I didnt see a charge for higher water pressure but my bf said he had to pay for more water pressure as it was barely trickling out. It was fine for us ladies. Restrooms clean. Recommend you come with EVERYTHING YOU NEED. did not see anything close by for emergencies. Volunteers were kind and helped us with a flat. Dogs everywhere. Campsites are pretty secluded but you can definitely hear other people and they can hear you, not good if you want to be secluded. It's also very family friendly. I know its not the campsites fault but due to the very wet spring, MOSQUITOS EVERYWHERE. I'm talking multiple species including the white and black stripped leg. (The ones in the news for zikka). I don't know if there would have been as much if we didn't have a wetter than normal spring but all the bug spray and more, suggest a netted canopy. The only times we didn't get bit was mid day and when we had a campfire. That's the only reason I would hesitate to go back. Rangers were friendly. 10 bucks a night if you have an extra veh.

We like camping here and there are so many things that you can do. 1. There are a couple trails around the park. 2. There is a playground for the kids. 3. Walking distance to the river. 4. Tent watching. This is the act of watching others struggle while putting up their tent and you document their experience while having a beer. (Top recommended activity)

It's a small but wonderful park for camping. Facilities are very good and organized, and hosts and staff super friendly.

The cabins at this State Park were very well maintained and clean. We stayed at Coho 4 and was informed it was one of the newer ones so I definitely recommend that. The Park was clean and peaceful. The Park was 45 min drive to North Cascades Ntl Park

Yes, as long as you're following the current regulations. You can't drive up to the river, but you can park in the day use area and walk.
Yes, it is the same as other state parks. If a site is open, I'm pretty sure they will let you take it, but most of the spots fill up quickly, especially on weekends. You can book online, they have a lot of info about the sites there.
Yes, mostly flat hiking trails with great views of the field and the river! Also have ADA designated trails for folks who have mobility issues :)
Better to check park maps for availability. We do weekend reservations was ahead of time!
Yes . But we'll worth it.
😄 of course Canadians can stay as long as they/you have a Discover Pass, sadly though I think the comping of Maple Syrup will not be happening 😅
Check the website.
Don't know. I would check the government site for that.
There is an ADA trial from the parking area to the Skagit River. It's a really nice Park.
They have about 3 miles of trails total. The longest is a 1 mile loop. Good for kids, but I don't think any serious biker would like it the trails are narrow and there are a lot of walkers
Only at the campsites.
And cold! Don't forget this is primarily glacial runoff so the water is usually, literally, freezing.
I was there last weekend and the cabins were gated off still. Better call the ranger station to make sure before you go.
Nope. It's perfect for disconnecting from technology and enjoying nature
I don't know but their website will tell you. https://washington.goingtocamp.com/home
Yes
No. The Adirondacks do not have power. They've very fun anyway and have places to hang lanterns or other forms of lights. We used a small LED solar light and it worked very well.
There are several sites with power, as well as 3 group campsites across the main road. Each have 10 sites in them, all with power and water.
Yes $.50 for three minutes
Yes it does. Slow fill. But it's there:)
$5 if youre not camping there. The rest stops are free. There's one around mile post 206 on I-5.
Best thing since the burn ban will probably be more frequent is a propane fire pit they're always allowed and very nice
