And cold! Don't forget this is primarily glacial runoff so the water is usually, literally, freezing.
I wouldn't recommend it. While there is beach access, the current is very swift and I suspect it would be very dangerous.
It's on a river, so there can be a swift current, but there is beach access, so I suppose you could swim there.
