Horseshoe campground is a nice spot in the Mt Baker area. I made the reservation on recreation.gov and found a campsite right next to the water. They require all dogs to be leashed. There were plenty of trash cans and bathrooms, no showers though. My boyfriend and I lost cell service (TMobile and AT&T) about a half hour or an hour from the campsite, so be sure you have your directions downloaded.

Nice campground, spacious sites with running water and flush toilets within close proximity. The lake is beautiful for swimming and water sports, and it's super easy to get to. Beware of mosquitoes, though; the campsites situated farther from the lake get less wind, which allows them to congregate in fairly large numbers. Bring bug repellant.

We got #26 on a fluke. Best camping. I'd still be happy with others as it is a great campsite.

Yes you can launch your boat and it is a five dollar parking fee if you don't have a discovery pass
