Best camping site I've been to, by far. The lake is spectacular, both during daytime and night time (try and find the hidden bench behind the trees). Gave it only 4 stars only because the camp host is terrible, and doesn't make sure the pumped water is drinkable (went to Horseshoe Cove Campground, 4 miles down the road to fill up some water)

The view of Mt. Baker are beautiful. Camp host is nice. Peaceful and beautiful lake for fishing in your boat.

Panorama Point Campground is a good campground by Baker lake. Good campsites.

Stopped in on a day permit. The views are gorgeous and a great place to stop in for a swim! Very beautiful. Views of Mt Baker are stunning!

Not free there, but there are free dry camping spots along the end of lake, where the pavement ends on dirt road. First come first serve. Get there early.
You definitely could, it's far enough from light pollution just need a non-cloudy night here in Washington

Yes there is a bathroom port a potty style in brick building and no showers
There are many first come, first serve campsites around baker lake. But almost all campgrounds do need to be reserved.
Yes I believe it's only open from April till September
