Pros: Lakefront tent camping Quiet Great Host Boat launch Cons: Long gravel road with potholes (farthest campsite on Baker lake road) Heavy mosquitos (expected, but annoying) No electricity at any of the sites Summary: loved this spot and will be back

As an East Coast girl, I decided to head out to Washington State! Cindy, the camp host was amazing! She was friendly and informative about the area. Cindy kept Shannon Creek in immaculate condition... who knew an outhouse could be so clean! The camp site was also clean with a beautiful view of Baker Lake. Kudos to Cindy for making my camping trip a fun and welcoming place to be!

Extremely beautiful campground with lots of privacy and a swimming area with amazing views. The bathrooms and grounds are kept well-maintained and clean. From the swimming area, you can see two mountain peaks and a waterfall. The camp host Kevin is friendly and keeps the grounds neat and clean. The camp sites are large and most can fit more than one tent. We went twice this summer and will return again next year.

Lots of bugs, A LOT! This campground is geared mainly for people with boats as it has it's own private boat launch. There are zero close by walking trails unless you drive to the nearest trail head. There is a vault toilet and a very difficult hand water pump. Almost no shade on any of the picnic tables at the site...we walked around to see the other sites as well, as ut was nearly empty when we went. The plus side is the campground was quiet but again, no one was there when we went the second week of July. The views of the lake and mountains from the boat launch were nice though.

I haven't seen anything on this particular campground.

Yes there is camping at Shannon Creek. Most sites are reserve sites, with a few walk up sites near the lake. Mid week some sites are normally open. Weekends are tougher to find something open.
Yes and no, check the campground on reservation.gov for a site at the campground. We made reservations months away and when we got there 2 weeks ago, we were the only campers in our loop.
