Very nice beach with wide tidal flats. Good easy hiking paths with lots of birds. We got there late on a Thursday about an hour before closing and there was no one but us in the whole park. Very important information: this park is a bird sanctuary and no pets are allowed.

You can walk along the beach nicely. The bummer is they need a little work on the covered seating area because the foundation got washed out. It is winter and they will trim the trail soon. 🙂

This is a fantastic beach for walking far from the shore in low tide or for shallow swimming situation. It is protected from the wind so less cold than other beaches. Lots of birds to observe all year round.

Pretty little spot where you can easily accesa the mud flats at low tide. Open for clamming but we didn't on this trip so can't speak to potential harvest.

Your right It's really not very special, it used to be before it was a state park! People rode horses and took their dogs down there. You'd occasionally see responsible quad owners rolling around. The beach used to be awesome but then something about "protecting" birds came up and now the beach barley gets people to stop.
No sea glass, and sea shells are few and far between.
You need a WA state discovery pass which is good for all WA state parks. Annual pass is $30, daily pass is $10.
The liner for the vault toilet has been damaged for some time now. It is now under repair and will be open once the repairs are made.
The walk is paved and is an easy walk. But the walk is approx. 1/2 mile.
Bottle Beach State Park is located on Grays Harbor, not directly on the ocean. This park is popular with birders and hosts a large variety of migrating birds. It is critical bird habitat area on the north/south migration route consisting of tide plains, and wetland habitat for nesting and foraging birds.
It's a State Park, so parking requires a Discovery Pass. There is no fee for use.
