How long is the walk from the parking lot to sand? I’m looking for a beach so my 86 year old Mom who has Alzheimer’s can walk in the sand and put her feet in the water.

The walk is paved and is an easy walk. But the walk is approx. 1/2 mile.

Bottle Beach is located on Grays Harbors and is on the official Washington State Birding Trail. There is an ADA accessible trail. The trail is flat and takes you to a viewing platform. From the viewing platform there is a short natural trail to the shoreline. Visitors can travel along the 6,000 feet of coast line and keep an eye out for the numerous species that fill the air. Dogs are not allowed and there are porta potties at the parking lot.
