I am a caregiver and I took my client up to get a ultra sound and they wouldn't let me in she tryed to say since covid and since he isn't in a wheel chair i can't go in with him. witch is not true because I have been with him every other time here since covid. she wouldn't let me in even when i told her I need to help him. just because he isn't in a wheel chair doesn't mean he doesn't need help and I am his liscens caregiver!!! the lady at the front didn't even care and told me I had to go outside and wait. I am so upset. I diffently want to call and complain she shouldn't be allowed to not let the caregiver in especially not know his conditions and not caring enough to let me explain why I need to be with him and since this inst a postive review the owner will not coment just like all the reviews below because they dont care

Would have given zero stars. ER was a joke. Shut the room door so they wouldn't have to listen to me scream in pain. Wouldn't give pain meds that actually worked. Left in just a sling, but every bump in the road I could feel bone actually moving. How is a broken arm supposed to heal if the bones are moving. Then sent in a prescription for 10 whole pain pills even though we told him we have a 400 mile trip to get home tomorrow.. where I can see a decent doctor who can do x-rays because I feel like this hospital definitely missed something. Would not recommend.

I came in by ambulance really sick..was taken in a room and was surrounded by staff immediately. I was there for about 8 hours a given exceptional care the whole time. I returned by ambulance a few days later, diagnosed with COVID. I was held in the ER area for 2 days until a bed became available on the 3rd floor. Not their fault. Once transferred to 3rd floor, I can't say enough for the care I received. Very courteous, took the time to answer all my questions, and my doctor rocked!! Was so kind and considerate. It was a very pleasant stay for my duration. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My 10 month old had covid and was having a hard time breathing and making horrible sounds when she breathed. Her lips were slightly blue and eyes were dark. We took her here to get her checked out and they refused to see her and even check if her breathing was distressed. They even told us that they are tired of people with covid coming there and clogging up thier emergency room. They told us to go home and not come back without even so much as touching our 10 month old. They never bothered to listen to her breath. They never bothered to check her O'2 levels. They never so much as even put a stethoscope to her chest. They did absolutely nothing except tell us to leave and not come back

We are currently operating 55 beds, including 3rd floor, CCU, and the emergency department.
Hi Amy, just one. For details on visitation please visit https://www.ghcares.org/covid There you will find our full guidelines.
Hi Lorraine, Sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully you can reach us now. We have a limited number of lines available in and out of the hospital. While that number is quite high, at some peak times we can use up all of our lines. I checked with our IT department and everything seems to be operational at the moment. We are working with our phone provider to fix the issue.
Hi Heather, Michell is correct, however we only test if you are symptomatic. This means going to either our Prompt Care Respiratory clinic or the ER to get tested. Both test are run at our lab here at the hospital, so turn around for the full PCR is typically 24-36 hours depending on your arrival time.

Hi Joan, sorry for the delay, Please call GH County Health: 360-964-1850 While you can get tested at our ER if you are admitted, I would suggest using the County if possible. I think Rite Aide in East Hoquiam is also testing.
No
Hi Jennifer, yes we do. We have a Cardiology department: https://www.ghcares.org/cardiology We are also designated by the state as a Level 3 Trauma Center, which generally means we can stabilize and care for those suffering from heart attacks and stroke. You can find a bit more information about that here: https://www.ghcares.org/trauma-center-level-3 Please let us know if you have any more questions.
