This review is about the cabins. Stayed in cabin 3. You can make a reservation far in advance - i think 9 months. Our first time and pleasantly surprised. We wanted a deluxe cabin but those get reserved quickly. Our standard cabin was c3. 1 firm queen sized mattress bed and 2 twin beds in bunkbed formation. Bring your own bedding and pillows. In the cabin. There is a small table, 2 chairs and a bench. A small microwave and small fridge/freezer, bedside table with lamp. There is a heater. There are 2 accessible outlets. 1 near the fridge that makes the lighting go wonky if you plug anything into it. 1 outlet under the table. The windows have screens and blinds and curtains. Outside there is a porch swing for 2 facing away from the view. There is a picnic table, a BBQ and fire pit with standard half grill. You can buy firewood from ranger or camp host for $7 during our visit. You have 1 designated parking spot. There is a shared bathroom a short walk away with toilet paper and paper towels. There is a pay shower 50 cents for 3 minutes taking quarters only. I thought the bathrooms were kept up very well considering the rainy weather and the number of people using the facilities during our busy weekend. Our site faced the water. You have a view of the bay through the trees and can see the refinery. There is a side view of sunset but you have to go to the beach to see it better. It was rainy and cold during our memorial day weekend stay. We weren't super prepared because this was our first time to this site. We were still able to enjoy time around the fire with protective trees despite the rain. Our neighbors were quite noisy but it didn't bother us. The campsite is actually next to the road and you can hear the road traffic. The welcoming ranger was very nice. The ranger station and the camp host were not always readily available but that also didn't affect how we felt about our stay. We highly recommend this place.

Love this campground. Beautiful sunsets, so incredibly close to the beach and perfect for kids. We had one of the RV sites with electricity and water and it was perfect for us.

This place is incredible! The bathrooms are nice and clean, and the overall scenic vibe here is wonderful. Being so close to the water is really awesome 🌊!

If you are camping here then ensure you visit the beach twice because the water level changes a lot. Evening you will see it full like a high tide and in morning it will show up all the mud and weeds underneath it. Yet, the rocky beach looks beautiful. The oil refinery at the far end provides an interesting background to the sole wooden log on the beach for your Instagram pics. Campground is decent with lots of space and clean restrooms, rangers make multiple rounds. There were lots of bunnies and even tiny mices but we did not have any issue with our stay(tent, food..).

Yes there are cabins at Bay view state park. You reserve on the www.washington.goingtocamp.com website. Under "roofed" accommodations.
There are a few. It is a very small park. If you are going to stay there I advise heading to the Padilla Bay Interperative Center and walking the trails there. Also, in Bayview there is a wonderful trail that covers about 5 miles of shoreline. It is flat and easy.
Dont know call the park service.
I think $ 35 a night with full hookup.
Plenty of electrical hook up's and water. No individual sewer, but there is a dump station
I believe it has a cap at around 20 days total. I stayed for 2 weeks and was fine.
Fireworks are prohibited on all state public lands, including state parks and beaches that front state park lands. All Washington state laws are enforced in Washington state parks
Yes
This is a wildlife protected area, so no to ATV's on park property
Nope, just short term camping
There are no piers there. I think it would be difficult at best
On the state parks page under Bay view state park, scroll to the bottom of the page and there it will tell you if there is a burn ban & what stage it is.
No, but cwb.org has boat rentals at nearby Cama Beach State Park.
there is a boat launch, fairly new one.
That depends on a few factors. Disabled & Seniors get 1/2 off the space. So for a spot with electric & water & fits a 35 ft RV is $30. If you have a Discover/ Go Pass or not. So I stayed there last year in a RV in November & December. With my disabled parking placard, I paid $15 per night. In my opinion it's the best Park in Skagit County & Washington state. Let me know if you need any help or more info or advice. I'm a local guide on here & physically in Washington state.
I dont see why you couldnt have a wedding there. It's a beautiful park with gorgeous spaces everywhere. The beach front is rocky, though there is beach access.
There is no wifi in the cabins, but there are nearby local towns that have cafes with wifi.
The WA state park website has the info. Since there are a lot of variables (people, vehicles, which cabin), you'd get an accurate answer there.
You won't be able to stay for a month in any Washington State Parks. Reservations are required. Visit https://Washington.goingtocamp.com to find your site. Max stay is 10 days with a 10 day break between visits. Contact the park staff with any questions. 360-757-0227
That is a good question. When i had visited Bay View last spring, my recollection the showers were in the women's and men's restroom. But i would call or look on line to see if they have a separate area, where Unisex facilities are provided. Hope your able to find the answer and happy camping.
The folks at Bayview were great on answering my Q's&A"s. Small campground. I visited the site this passed summer. I like the fact they cared about maintaining and the up keep. Only draw back was at the time children and teens were a little noisey. Other than this, this camp ground is good for Seniors, familes,. Folk that are cool about the space between each plot site. More info just call them. Have Fun!!! Out in the woods.
Yes they have a large circle of at least a dozen. This time of year should be no problem securing one.
Tent spaces can be reserved or take your chances. This is a very popular destination park. Don't forget your Discover Pass.
Well it depends on if you have an RV or not if you only have a tent then the answer would be no. If you have an RV and and let's say somebody in your group has a tent I'm sure you might be able to get away with setting one up otherwise you wouldn't want to pay for an RV site if you only have a 🎪, hope this helps have a good one
I've seen people do that, parking by the restrooms. You'd still have to check in with the ranger and probably pay a fee to park. If you're paying for a spot you don't need a discover pass.
