I had a great time at the lodge. Close to all the park offers. The dinner food in the restaurant was just ok but breakfast was very nice. The burrito with eggs was huge! The room was comfortable and not ac did not distruct as the fan was enough to cool the room at night.

Rooms are clean, spot is very convenient. Other than that I’m not at all happy with the service I got for the price($$$) I paid. Very disappointed. -To start with there was problem with the toilet flush but even after calling front desk, visiting in person at reception no one came to fix it. -Shampoo and bath soap bottles were empty. -after requesting for bar soap I have been told that they ran out of it. Seriously??? -They claim that they provide WiFi but it wasn’t really working.

This is an understaffed hotel with a great location in Sequoia National Park. The handyman Joshua had to help us get into our room. The lodge is separated from the lodging area....our rooms were not ready until 6pm...then a long line. The pizza was delicious but our salad was given to us without dressing and minimal additions...lettuce and 4 cherry tomatoes. Lovely location and we were tired hikers so we hit the beds...very comfortable beds.

Perfect location in the heart of Sequoia. Great welcome from Emilee at the front desk. In addition to explaining everything about our stay, she went above and beyond in helping us with a special request and remembered us when we came in later. Xavier was also very helpful on two occasions. As others indicate, the rooms are in a separate area from the building with the front desk and restaurant. If stairs are a problem, make sure to ask for a room on the entry level (not necessarily the first floor). Rooms are beautiful and look quite new. The deluxe king room has a sofa and comfortable chair, large TV, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. And king sized bed of course. The restaurant staff was excellent! They're serving most things to-go, and then you can eat it the dining room or on a beautiful outdoor deck. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend for your lodging in Sequoia!

Ours was not included. Cost was about $14. For full buffet or $8 for continental breakfast. the only choice the restaurant had you could not order off of the menu. There may be packages where the breakfast is included.
Hey gene i pretty sure there was no elevator in the building we stayed in it was 3 floors. There was a ramp going jp to the lodge though. But if you are going to see the general sherman and grant trees they are both very accessable
Yes i do believe so. Those are pretty standard items at most hotels. If they're not already in the room, they should be available upon request.
But your dog will not be allowed on any of the shuttles. On weekends unless you have a handicapped tag that is your only way get to many of the sites. The two parking lots close to the main trail heads are full by 930am.
No, not for guest use.
As far as I know, the only means between Wuksachi and Lodgepole is the main park road
