Michelle, our onsite host is friendly and helpful. The campsite is Peaceful as well as beautiful. Bring a warm sleeping bag and clothes, chilly at night, but the pine scented air is refreshing.

Nice quite campground. Went over the july 4th weekend. Camp sites were clean. Wasnt overly packed given the holiday. Very nice view. Only downside was the dirt. Made for a dusty trip. But my 6 month old n frenchie enjoyed all of the views …

Amazing experience. Very beautiful place for camping. Neil the host is super awesome , always working hard to keep families with a smile from check in to check out , restrooms are always clean , and he is a very respectful. Best camp host by far 👏👌. Definitely coming back soon .

Yes they are. Dogs must be on leash at all times and can be brought on the hiking trails in the National Forest.
We were there August 26th-27th. There was no smoke at all. We could smell the fresh piny air! Very cool and refreshing.
The general store has all that good stuff even cold beer n snacks
Its all need creek. Upper stoney has a nice creek behind it along with the general store thats there. As far as large body of water. Your looking at HUM lake. Campsites at upper stony eith water are 14/15/16/17/18
There is no cell phone service or Wi-Fi at the campground. There is public Wi-Fi at the lodge down the street. The router is located in the garage next to the gas pumps. It's a very weak signal though. Good enough to check email or Facebook. We tried to download music and a movie for the kids and it was next to impossible. It took so long we gave up.
It is better if a reservation is made, I go in July and reserve in January, because they reserve them quickly and there is no more room
