We had a lovely time in the park. The last thing we did before leaving was stop here to eat. Waste of time. We arrived about 15 minutes before dinner service @ 5. Line is growing. 5 rolls around and I see 3 or 4 staff but no one is aknowledging customers or opening. Maybe 5 or 10 minutes later they start taking orders at the bar. We ordered a chicken dish and flank steak dish. For drinks a cider on tap and my partner wanted a cocktail, all they had is a canned margarita. The food is at the pickup counter in Styrofoam boxes before we even finish ordering. The dining area is beautiful, lined with windows. The steak was overcooked. The chicken was literally half a chicken. It was cooked well but lacking flavor. Not to mention half a chicken and an overcooked steak is pretty hard to eat when all you get is plastic utensils. The side potatoes were good. The side salad was not. It tasted like it was only dressed in apple cider vinegar and the baby carrots were undercooked. We spent $75 . $75 is a lot to serve yourself not very well prepared food. We ate at many other places in California for around this price and every one blew this place way out of the water. Skip it.

Deck Menu for lunch. Good food, nice quality and portion size for a fair price. Limited order and be seated indoor and outdoor service with pizza and sandwiches, alcohol and soda and some desserts.

The views were great but the food not so much. Was very disappointed disappointed in my meal. I got a sandwich that was clearly made at least A day prior and and stuck in a fridge. The bread was cold, soggy and inedible. I ended up just eating the insides of the sandwich, and even that needed a lot of salt and sauce. Very tasteless and bland. Also pretty pricey for what you get.

Good food and good prices considering it's located in the middle of a NF. Pizza was made fresh, didn't appear to be frozen, and large enough to feed 2 people. Outdoor deck overlooks trees and had deer grazing. Lodge and bar were very clean.

I would say no, since it's a restaurant. Good meals though!
