Wow! I came in to renew my license today. The folks working here are so quick to take care of everyone, my number came up as soon as it was printed out, then my name was called to have my photo taken while my forehead was on the vision test machine!! So thankful and appreciative of their efficiency! So that I'm now able to help drive, along the way that God will lead our steps, by His grace. Thank you so much!

It must be the friendliest Drivers license office in the country. And the fastest! I've been there twice, and both times I was in and out in less than half an hour! Note that they're closed on Mondays!!

Great customer service, staff was friendly... But I failed my written test 🥺

Made appts on line about three weeks ago for both of us. We showed up early but went to the building lower lobby. Staff welcomed us, Asked COVID questions. Told us both to come in. We were in and out in 20 minutes. Easy Peasy. Friendly efficiency .

Do I have to make an appointment to take the written test and the drivers test?
I believe you can one time and the next you have to get a new photo.
Go down there. I gave up trying to get someone on the phone, and went the following Monday. They're closed Mondays, but otherwise the absolute friendliest Department of Licensing, probably in the country. When I did go at the right time, I was in and out in less than half an hour.
Yes
You may be able to do that online, go to license Express
Go to dol.wa.gov for information on costs
The lady at the front said as soon as there office opens you can get your license, for now the one in Sequim is open for vehicle tabs
Yes, they take everything. Cards have fees .
Yes, Wednesday and Friday. 10 am to 1pm and 2 to 4 pm.
I called a number I found on the website and filled a survey but that's not a formal complaint
https://www.dol.wa.gov/contact/drivers.html Here is all the contact but I didn't find a driver License fax number
Knowledge tests for CDL and testing for medical reasons are conducted daily up to an hour prior to closure. Standard driver license knowledge tests are done Wed through Sat, also up an hour before closing time. No appointment is required. Early is usually better than late, and Saturdays are typically pretty quiet, though we close at 230 on Sat.
The Port Townsend office is M-F, but we're Tues-Sat. You can check out dol.wa.gov, Drivers section, office locations, Port Angeles to view days/hours of operation and the services we provide.
No i dident i dont have a bike wish i did still looking for a place 2 ren 3 bed or shared room lol still new to this state
Your standard license should work just fine to fly domestically until Oct 2020 when Washington's REAL ID extension expires. At that point you'll need an Enhanced License, or a passport, passport card, military ID, etc to fly domestically. For document requirements to get an EDL, visit dol.wa.gov.
The test is conducted to the south of the office, mostly in neighborhoods and a few arterials.
At 15 1/2 they can test for the permit, but before then they can only get one when enrolled in drivers ed and it's within ten days of the course start date. If they don't already have an ID card, they'll need a certified birth certificate or certified school transcript plus a parent for identity and permission. Testing is done Wed through Sat up to an hour before closing time.
