I literally just got off of the phone with Tammy who told me NOT to move here and to stay where i'm at or else i'll end up homeless. EXCUSE ME??? YOUR TELLING ME THIS ORGANIZATION IS GOVERNMENT FUNDED?????? I'm FURIOUS! I am a young successful married woman who has a disabled husband with a fixed income and you DO NOT KNOW HOW TO HELP ME? I don't even need much help! I'm insulted, shocked.... It's not like this is a situation where we got into a spat or anything, we we're both extremely polite and I was stunned when the words came out of her mouth. She has ZERO idea where we are at right now and why we cannot "stay where we are" and completely insulted me when she said that we would end up homeless. I've got PLENTY of money and knowledge, and will NEVER go homeless. I don't understand how a GOVERNMENT FUNDED OFFICE MADE TO HELP CITIZENS WITH HOUSING CAN TELL CLIENTS TO NOT COME HERE. THAT'S A FLIPPING OXYMORON!!

There is no structure or rules -and my family has been constantly harrassed since building our home here -With no help from staff -So now we document all incidents and will be included in harrasement lawsuit -My family should not half to worry about coming home and dealing with angry jeolous and spiteful men who need to focus on getting a life -And leave us alone

Serenity house night by night will be closing their doors, the persons that donated the money that kept the doors open decided not to fund the program and for great reason, the 45 day program was to give people a place to stay while searching for a job and home but more than none abused what was offered to them, what was said to be a clean and sober start well lets just say the people/clients used and abused, tried to turn it into a flop house and the night by night used it for a flop house/ free bed to sleep off their drugs and alcohol. They also have renters that are supposed to be clean and sober and to live there that's so they can stay clean and sober. On all 3 programs there are the too many ones that only think of themselves and don't take into consideration that they are screwing with the living and lives of the ones going by the rules now at the end of the month all the programs at Serenity come to a close for all.
