I was so excited to bring my daughter here because I’d been many times in the past. The views were stunning g, the flowers incredible, and the gift shop was amazing. This visit was a huge disappointment as you can no longer drive to past a certain point unless you are staying at the house. The former gift shop in the carriage house was amazing, the new gift shop didn’t hold a candle to the former one. The lavender fields were small and the purple bicycle that you could take pictures next to is no longer available. I won’t waste my time again. I am grateful I got to visit multiple times before they changed things. It used to be my favorite farm to visit.

Beautiful drive up to gift shop. Although it was small the staff was very nice. We came a little early so not much of the lavender had blooms.

Gorgeous property with a quaint little gift shop that had delicious lavender infused ice cream. Our favorite was the lemon lavender. But the star of the show is without a doubt Auntie June aka “The Lavender Lady”. She has a lavender craft tent just outside the gift shop. As you explore her array of meticulously designed crafts, she showers your with loving positivity and hospitable energy that is unmatched. If you stop by during open hours (we came after 10AM) don’t forget to stop and greet her. She makes the place warm and welcoming, and is clearly an asset to this business.

We distill and bottle our lavender essential oil right here on the farm. It is available through our online shop year round and in the farm’s gift shop during the summer months. We have both angustifolia and intermedia oils.
Although the bloom season varies slightly from year to year, generally there will be purple in the fields from early July through early August.
The gift shop opened on June 2 and is open daily beginning at 10 a.m. (Sunday at 1 p.m.). We and/or our shop employees are available until 6 pm. We are also offering curbside pickup from our online shop at shop.georgewashingtoninn.com.
No, we only sell retail in our farm store/gift shop. You may want to check with B&B Family Farm.
