Pretty decent book store for a small town like Port Angeles. However, I will not accept store staff with poor customer service skills. You need to train young blond with ponytail how to deal with customer's questions. We spent our $50 at your competitor.

One of my all time favorite bookstores! Not only do they have a great selection of well chosen books and knowledge of their books but neat toys (for kids and grownups). Just such a wonderful, magical, and fun bookstore!

We often browse through the store while waiting for the Coho ferry to Victoria and have always been impressed by the selection of books and the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Recently I asked if they had Gorbachev by William Taubman which I had looked for in vain at Powell's Books in Portland. Port Books had it ... what a place.

Love this book store! When I first moved here I was worried I'd miss aimlessly wandering around Barnes and Noble, but this is so much better and personable. I get to chit chat with the friendly workers about the latest book club selections. I can order anything I need and support local. Sure it's not Amazon prices, but it says a lot to shop from a Mom and Pop bookstore. Reminds me of You've Got Mail. You can't find that kind of customer service from Amazon or big box stores.

Port Book and News does trade for used books. We may not take all the books you bring in, as we allow the credit to be used on new books as well as used. Thanks for asking! We no longer give cash for books.

You'll need to call them for this.

Considering the popularity of the Twilight series and the tourism that it has brought to your area do you carry the series in all published languages? I'm still looking for the first book in Norwegian, Evighetens Kyss.

I am not associated with the store, excelt my book is sold there. I suggest contacting the Stephanie Meyer website.
