So disappointed in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church! I have been trying to contact the pastoral team for the last 3 days to see if they can officiate my dad’s funeral this Thursday 9/19/19, but according to the pastoral associate, I cannot even meet with the deacon until Tuesday 9/17, two days before dad’s burial! Are you serious? There’s so much planning for a funeral and that’s way too late to be left hanging! So much for the Catholic faith of love, devotion, and believing in the Lord! This church is definitely out of touch with their congregation. In my dad’s time of need, the church has not been there for him. Yesterday, with my frustration, I reached out to Holy Disciples and got the run around, too. I was told to go to mass and look for a Rosemary and speak with her. No appointment, no formal meeting, just look for her. Then I got a call back from a Holy Disciples receptionist telling me that she reached out to Our Lady Queen of Heaven and “someone” would call me back. Well guess what? No one ever did. Surprise! So disappointed in the Catholic Church these days and this is yet another example of why.

Say what you want but i came to them for a gas voucher to get to my job interview and the first time she gave me the yellow copy and i wasted my gas getting to the gas staiton didnt get any gas but the gas staiton said i did then i went back so i could get a $12 dollar gas voucher and they said no we arent in the same area. Well how is that when we have the same zip code. Some people perseive you but the greed will consume you money is evil!!

Tried to go to Mass here for the Feast of the Assumption, and the priest didn't show up. Then after the Communion service, the nun who presided over it said they have to deal wirh this all the time. Ive been a Catholic all my life (59 years), and this is the first time I've gone to a scheduled Mass when the priest didn't show up.
