I flew in from from Tampa Florida! and I had a big formal party to attend the next night , I broke my heel on my dress shoes, & on last minute I found this guy (Henry ) and brought my shoes 👠 to him and he stopped and took the time repaired it for me and then…. Omg 😳 told me you owe me nothing….. just come back and see me when you really need some work done on your shoes and tell all your friends🥰 well friends this is the place to go to repair all of your shoes and purses and coats lol 😂 good old fashion customer service boy that is greatly missed these days!!! Love this place. There aren’t many places like this left, let alone a cobbler as good and caring as Henry. I first went to a shoe repair place in Lakewood but was not happy with their work and decided to try Proctor instead. Henry does amazing work and is always in a good attitude and wants to chat with you and see how you’re doing. Very old school guy and place, sometimes a little patience is needed. I don’t always get a call when my shoes are done, so I just check on them after a week and see how he’s doing. He knows his stuff and cares about his craft. Great prices too. I won’t go anywhere else now!

Henry replaced the Vibram soles on my hiking boots. The price was a bargain (less than 1/3 the price of new ones), the turnaround was very reasonable (four weeks), and his commitment to quality work is obvious. He's also a really nice guy. Five stars!!
