They try hard for their community though the system can be a rough on their employees and in my case, was helped greatly as were friends even with some of the issues. Mine might have been from an ex who lied a lot to them in order to escape jail. She is still on the loose but that's for police, FBI, CPS, and others to deal with.

Wonderful people and a wonderful business. This place really cares about people in the area. I know in this flux of the pandemic with COVID cases and people not being able to pay rent. I want to give a shout out to all the people who work for Community Action here in Skagit County and let you know just what a wonderful job you are all doing. You help so much and you care about people so much it is wonderful and enough cannot be said for the work you all do on the front lines. Thank you for all you do and please continue to strive for excellence!

Community action is by far the best resource I can recommend it to anybody. Not only did they help my family with hotel vouchers in the time of need, but now we have case management and we can find our own a two-bedroom apartment the next few weeks! We are so excited (

I accompanied a friend who had an appointment there, and was surprised how short a wait she had and how quickly her appointment was handled. I have been in many state benefit offices, where wait time and processing can run into hours. A "refreshing?" Experience.
