our daughter lives here, we've visited twice for a week vacation from Michigan, this place is very nice, I feel very good and relieved our daughter is secure, and enjoying every day while finishing college, I personally thank the staff, maintenance as well, looking forward to our next visit to this spectacular city!!!

I moved into Cypress in April 2019 and unfortunately each year my experience as a resident here becomes worse and worse, to the point where I will give a 1 star rating now primarily due to management. The leasing office illegally increased my rent without proper notice and has been totally unresponsive to my requests to correct it. I actually have had to go through the city of Seattle to file a formal complaint against Greystar, who the city is now investigating. It has been a massive headache for the past three weeks and continues to be. I'd be shocked if I'm the only resident that has had to deal with this. The building amenities and units may make it tempting to live here, but for your own sanity I'd STRONGLY recommend against it.

Nice building and common areas. Gym is great. Apartment has issues. Bathroom vent fan doesn't turn on with switch; only with sensor (but there is a fan switch). Smells from the hallway and other apartments easily drift through the vents, I guess. Carpet in hallway needs some upkeep. Ok place to live, I guess

If you're looking for a place to move right now- keep looking. I've enjoying living in Cypress until recently. All of the previous reviews about the wonderful maintenance and office staff were spot on- until Greystar took over in December. We came back to our apartment after a couple of days on vacation before New Year and had a letter at our door saying that our rent payment would not be processed because a new company was taking over, and had only one day to provide a check. There was no e-mail communicating this take over and no time given. It is extremely over priced considering there are no amenities or common spaces available (and have been understanding of this throughout the pandemic). An elevator has been broken for a month and the other is often reserved for moves. The old maintenance staff is gone (which makes me so incredibly sad- seeing them was often the highlight of my day) and the trash shoot has back up all the way to the seventh floor (on multiple occasions). The large trash room is completely disgusting and was never like that with the previous staff. I have a difficult time getting to my mail box because the packages overrun the mail area at all times. The gym was opened to two people at a time starting this past week. I signed up through the amenity pass app as was instructed and the gym doors were locked upon my arrival (with no access to the office). Any of these in isolation would be bearable- but rent here is far to expensive to be dealing with any of it. Save your money- it's not worth your hassle.
