This post office is seriously a joke and Alex, the post master, is the worst. No one know how to do their job here. They still have not delivered any of my mail even though they have confirmed my mailbox is ready to be serviced. I have had nothing but issues with them. I seriously am thinking about moving just so I won’t have to put up with this horrible service they provide. They have lost tons of my mail as well. I get informed delivery notices from the post office and then it never comes and they claim to not have it.

My package was delivered to the wrong cluster box on Nov 12 2020. I spoke with the post master who sent out a letter asking people to check for a package that was misdelivered the previous Monday. So Matt sends out a letter for my package 2 months later or this kind of stuff happens alot. The mail carrier was not doing her job was not paying attention. This is the 3rd time it has happened. I have many times recieved other people's mail also. 1st time they took it upon thwmselves to return to Amazon with out tell me I had to find it in my acct. 2nd time the new employee was discrontal and decided to send everything back and it was stated undeliverable. Ravensdale post office stated it was a new hire they chose not to deliver and quit the next day 3rd time it was mis delivered This post office has a lot of problems. They then tell me to contact seller and get a refund. Why would they when the package was shipped correctly. They didn't do anything wrong and the post office per their GPS knows it was delivered to the wrong address. I find this unacceptable in so many ways and I will not get my package or money back. So now I'm left with what else are they going to misdeliver. The mail carrier needs to be reprimanded

2019 snow. Streets clear. Hours spent digging safe trail to front door for deliveries. UPS, FEDEX, even the Schwan delivery guy from Olympia made delivery the day after storm. Ravensdale post office at a dead stop, closed, for days. No notification, no information. Now, over a week later, still not getting regular local delivery by USPS. No mail delivery yesterday, 2-19-2019. "Delivery attempt made" and not able, post person says they didn't want to leave package "unattended". So which excuse is it today?! A $25.00 aquarium test kit. They've left items unattended costing significantly more MANY times. Delivery was not attempted. No mail was delivered. I was here all day long, know the sound of the USPS truck, VERY distinctive. Never came. Unacceptable. Fail! Update: Again, no mail delivery 2-20- 2019. Pictures show how easy mail delivery would be. 3rd time since snow storm we've been told delivery was attempted and not able. Pictures prove otherwise. Lazy, irresponsible, Govt entitled employees not delivering mail. Time to file a complaint. Update: Husband had to go to post office to pick up our mail 2-20-2019. Got a piece of paper handed to him that did nothing more than try to put the blame on us because we didn't have enough space for the mail truck. But they'll deliver my paper mail just fine. Only hold my mail at the post office if I have a package delivering. They've delivered packages since the storm but won't now...until last night 2-20-2019. Refused to deliver my mail during the day. Remember their excuse was an unattended package? They left a package on my doorstep sometime after 5pm which sat unattended until my husband found it on the porch this morning at 5am. Liquids left unattended on my porch with below freezing temperatures. Glad my local post office is so very concerned about my packages. This is US Mail and needs to be handled by people more responsible than the ones here in Ravensdale,WA. Fail. My mail was delivered today but instead of being placed neatly, face side up like usual, it was tossed in upside down. Retaliation from this honest review? I stand by my review. Update: 2-22-2019 Yup someone is reading my reviews. Not getting in a pissing contest at my age over an honest review. 22 years ago when we moved here we put our mailbox off the road to give our postal workers a safe, shady place to pull over. And now it's too much effort to park or back up! BBC saluting on foot US Postal workers here in Seattle getting the job done. Not mine! Box going back on road for first time in 22 years. Taking the parking area I've sacrificed for years, back. Doesn't meet the US Post mail box placement rules anyway. Time to follow rules. Easements on other the side of Landsurg, I own up to the street. And there will be a vehicle parked there. No more room to pull in. Well done! Problem solved in future for everyone! And please, stop putting my paper mail on the porch where anyone looking to steal a box can take it too!

The employee are nice however the mail carrier will not drop packages at my door even though I literally like on the main road. No biggie BUT when I go to my PO box 9 or of 10 times my package isn't in a locker, it has a slip where I have to pick up at the counter. This post office is very very very slow. I have waited in line for over 30 minutes multiple times simply to retrieve my package. They need to make someone available to help people who just need their mail vs making them wait behind 5 people with packages to mail and whatnot. It's ridiculous and it's every single time, and I have literally no choice but to deal with it because the mailman won't drop to my house and UPS now passes off a good amount of packages to USPS so there's just lo way around it.
