I love this place! The staff are very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I can't believe they can pack so many good things in a relatively small space. I'm always able to find what I need. So lucky to have this gem in our neighborhood!

I came in with a pepper grinder that was stripped. It was a homemade gift and I hoped to fix it. The man at the paint counter helped me. He took it to customer services and rethreaded it. He wasn't sure if that would work but I took it home and it works now! The cashier was very friendly as well. I love this local business.

Maybe because everyone is busy dodging customers in the aisles? Actually, I've found almost everyone to have been extremely helpful in the 25 years we've lived in West Seattle. Helpful and extremely knowledgeable people in the paint department, and the nuts 'n' bolts section. Grateful to have this little jewel in the neighborhood and we will always support it so it doesn't go the way of the Junction Feed & Seed. (Miss that one.)
It wasn't up that day. I went and looked. Haven't been back since so I'm not sure if there's one now. I didn't know transmission of COVID through the simple transfer of money was a thing. Especially since hand sanitizer sits right on the counter next to the cashier. How is different to handle people's groceries? 🤔
