I love Ken's Market. Everything is well stocked and organized and the staff are super sweet (minus the cafe). It's definitely not cheap but it's good quality, fresh food. I love the coffee bar but did want to point out (if the manager sees this) that on the days I'm in business attire and heels, I get treated a bit differently (better) at the cafe. Because I don't go there as much as Met Market, they don't know me personally but I did notice a difference. It's not like that at PCC or Met Market. They treat all customers the same at their cafe (Met Market doesn't have a cafe but a separate dessert counter with gelato to compare). I feel like the cafe gals may need a little bit more training on customer care (be inviting to customers whether they look prim and proper or not). It's a community store and all should be treated as such. Check out their little pre-made lunch/dinner section (near the cafe). Tons of variety for lunch at the office or home. Everything is tasted good from that aisle (far better than the pre-made Foods at Whole Foods).

Great spot for groceries, hot sandwiches and beer in the center of Greenwood/Phinney. The staff are always amazingly fun and helpful. Don't miss their soups, hard to beat!

Very cool local shop with a nice selection of the basics but with a small town feel, and most importantly LOTS of items from local businesses. Great place to pickup beers from local breweries, and my "go to" is to get Lighthouse Roasters coffee beans. Lighthouse is the BEST coffee, and their coffee shop isn't open very late - so it's so nice to be able to find their amazingly delicious fresh beans at the local shop who supports their local businesses (and stays open late). Everytime you come to Ken's you're likely to find a new flavorful treasure that you didn't know about before, and is often from nearby!

Yes to both, and their craft beer section is amazing. Always good at getting in seasonal rotations from all the local beer spots. They also have a lot of local wines from Columbia valley and Walla Walla. A lot of great reds from Italy and France too :)
Hi Lisa, we don't have a plastic bag recycling program.
