There are long lines seems like every one is more interesting in chatting with each other instead of trying to help. Plus they have really rude attitude like it's our fault they have to provide a service!. No it's your job to be polite and assist us nobody asked you to work there. They need better ppl with better attitudes

I got my driver licence there. My instructor was Jonathan. He was very professional and clear in giving me instructions during the test. I passed with only 3 small ministakes. He was only testing my driving skills rather than seeking to fail me. I can absolutely tell the difference especially after my horrible experience in the other DMV. Afterwards,
he gave me more advice on my driving. Staffs there were also very cheerful and chilled. They are absolutely not those would will be annoyed and never raise their head when you ask a question. I will totally recommend this DMV especially for your behind the wheel.

I went to Culver City DMV to renew my license and convert it into a Real ID. I uploaded support documents, completed the written test, paid for the ID and scheduled an appointment all on the DMV's website prior to arriving. The whole in person experience from arrival to departure was about 40 minutes. Pre-registering online and making an appointment is highly recommended. The woman working at the photo window was simultaneously taking photos and administering tests all with a smile and sweet energy for everyone that approached her. This was an especially nice way to end the experience of going to the DMV. I was honestly impressed with this location.

I was very lucky today, I reached DMV around 11am and have to wait 12 people before my turn. It was about 1 hour to finish. I update my home address. The employees were super friendly and nice. I was surprised. That's first time in DMV I ever experienced. I will go again to this DMV for sure. Thank you~
someone commented you can renew online...WRONG! you can fill out the form online and get a receipt code, but you still have to show the DMV rep the code when you attend your appointment, well, at least that's how it's done in Bedrock! Yabba dabba doo! :(

They practice social distancing (good) which allows fewer people to enter the facility at the same time.
If your Dad needs a REAL ID you can apply online, upload the necessary documents and you will get a confirmation letter that you can bring to the DMV Express line. The DMV personnel outside the door will check your documents and if everything is okay they will give you a number to stand in the express line. Your Dad will need to be present for the photo.
You have to be at dmv real early 6:00am if possible (take folding chair) they start serving the first 200 people then they'll schedule you to come back a couple hours later.

You don't need to make an appointment to go in. I didn't when I went in to renew/get real ID last week. Mind you the wait was super long. I got there a little before 7am thinking I'd be early (place opens at 8.) The line for no appointments wrapped around the block pretty good. I got up to the front around 10 am before I saw somebody and then they made an appointment for me to come back at 130pm. Anyways it was an all day event. Since you're just renewing I think you can do it online but since you moved you may need to show proof of residency(housing contract or whatever). Anyways at this point you might as well get your real id too since you gotta jump through the hoops and whatnot. Check out the realid.dmv.ca.gov website to see what you need. You go online and start the process by going to get my real id. You need to upload the 3 pieces of information, water bill,bank notice, things with your address, and then after you do all that you should get to a screen with a 🛑 stop sign and the dmv you requested and then go stand in the appointments line
Mine expires in October and I will now get my renewed license in 3 weeks. Go on the ca dmv website and start the process, especially if you want to get the "real id" then at the end of your session you will get a page with your confirmation code and a red stop sign. Thats what you need to go in the appointments line

No, Culver City DMV isn't one of the essential offices that the state selected. Downtown LA, ,Hawthorne and Glendale are three of the offices that are open. dmv.ca.gov

It's hard to predict. I made an appointment at 2: pm it took about t5 minutes or so. There was no line when I arrived. When I left there were about 10 or15 people in line. The problem was a DMV employee, having a bad day. ♿👊

It is on a computer, but, there is lots of assistance if you need it. If you have a 'clean ' driving record,you may not have to take it. There is a CA.DMV drivers handbook . You can change your address in the dmv records online, it will not get you an updated DL card. For updating it on the card, you may have to apply for a new license or get it updated while renewing the license.

Visit the dmv with ur old license, ssn and valid residency proof. Appointment is recommended but not necessary, you will have to wait a lot longer without an appointment.
They actually have ur thumb print. That is all u need ($$ too). Unless u want to get the real ID then u will need to follow the updated list of documents on their website.

The ID part depends on how many years it's been.. Sometimes they need a more current picture.. Plus they have that new ID now.. As far as your handicap is concerned I believe they automatically send you the new one a month before the old one expires..
You will have to come in and apply but you can do your application online (keep your app confirmation). Bring your docs passport/birth cert, ssn, 2 proffs of residence (utility bill/bank statement etc) If your old state can fax over your driving record your test can be waved.

Do u habe an ID? As long as u know your licence number you should be fine, carry your appointment letter as proof your going to take care of the problem soon. If by any reason you get pull over the officer, he/she can find out you do have a license by asking for either: id#, DOB, name and address.

You should update your address with the dmv to ensure you recieve your title. You could also check on the status of your paperwork while you are at it. They have made errors/delays mailing me things before. Its not unusual. Hope this helps!
