I usually never leave a negative review. The Sundial offers quite an experience. However, I paid 90 bucks for lamb chops that my girlfriends 11 year old could ha e cooked better. Ordered medium rare, they came out black and crusty on the outside and almost bleeding on the inside. Needless to say we did not finish them Billy, our waiter was awesome as well as all the staff we encountered. For what we paid, it was atill a great experience, however, if you're gonna charge that much for lamp, the person in the back better know how to cook it.

My stake was ok not great over cooked and for what u pay it should have been better.

Everyone was awesome. An amazing view great food I will definitely be back

I gave two stars, because the view was great! The food is horrible! They have no clue on what linguine should taste like. Just because it has seafood, should not make it a $79 dish. I would never recommend or visit this restaurant again. No worries there are a lot of restaurants that suck in Atlanta. Definitely not a foodie town.

So friendly you will get a police escort to your new room
Just to let you know I worked with Atlanta police at the time that the incident happened with the rotation and the child I spoke to management and they're checking with osha to make sure everything is back to where needs to be so they can add the rotation again
There's no dress code. You definitely want to look nice to take pics, but you'll be surprised to see what some people wear to go there. It's not as fancy as it looks. I wore a dress and my husband wore button down short sleeves shirt and cargo shorts and we were just fine. Enjoy!!! 😊
You can valet and restaurant will validate parking ticket but there are certain conditions check their website.
I think you're fine at SunDial business casual. The hotel frequently has conventions and corporate guests, so you should blend in perfectly and not feel over dressed. Cheers!
I was there at lunch time during the week and required to order an entree.
If you want a view there's an open elevator that will take too all the way. Its on the 72nd floor (glass walls you can see through). My best description. Not sure how to get to the elevator. Worth finding, its a very beautiful.
I woyyould prefer that no children are to be allowed in the bar regardless
No you do not, but you need a reservation for restaurant to get into elevator to go up to the restaurant.
The music varies each visit but I'm sure you can recommend but the night I visited it more like cocktail music. I'm sure you can groups. There are 3 levels for this venue. I would suggest making a reservation. Try Open Table for that.
Similar to Ruth's Chris Steak House. A caesar salad is $11.00 (no chicken, just the salad).
You can probably call them or call the hotel below it.
Yes, you can dress casual. Dressing up or not, you still will experience an amazing restaurant and taste great food
We have the New York strip it was very good
There is an $8 charge just to go up to the restaurant if you are not staying at the hotel
I went ahead and did valet. If you spend more than $75 you pay nothing for valet. That's a good chunk of change, but it was the perfect B-Day gift.
Not sure about that one,let me get back at you when I go to work on Friday
But reservations Helps
I don't think they are open for lunch. Just dinner, I believe Thursday thru Sunday.
The view is open, the restaurant just doesn't rotate. You can still walk around and see everything from all angles.
No I don't think that's allowed
It's an awesome idea!
No
One party in the glass elevator at a time. Tables are spaced out fairly well. Staff wears masks correctly on the floor. Definitely saw staff taking off mask behind the curtain to talk to each other. It did not feel like an increased air flow to provide clean air, and saw no visible air cleaning systems. Hand sanitizer was by elevator and restrooms. Mask enforcement for patrons up and away from table was not enforced. Even saw a patron with no mask way to close to another table with patrons dinning at it to get a photo with the city in the background. They have room for improvement.
Hello Atlien 4ever (love the user name!). You can view our current menu and pricing here: https://www.sundialrestaurant.com/sundialdinnermenu. We look forward to hosting you!
I went for Thanksgiving dinner and felt very safe. Based on my experience at that Thanksgiving dinner, attire ranged from dressy casual to formal.
Dine in is available. I ate there last week. You may need to make a reservation in advance, though.
Hello Samuel - $95 + Tax. More information can be found here: https://www.sundialrestaurant.com/thanksgiving. Please be sure to make a reservation to secure your spot - we tend to fill up quickly! Happy (early) Thanksgiving!
Not at this time. But you can order ahead and take out. They close at 230 and reopen at 6.
It is quite fancy the view is amazing and dresscode is semi casual.
You'll drop about a hundred for two people.
The building was built in 1972.
That I am not sure about, I will say yes, but they might be offended if you asked for it 😀
No. There is an observation deck above the resturant you can walk around and lookbat the views.
Sunday only. Great Jazz Thursday thru Sat dinner.
I was there last week and it was not spinning.
No
We did as we didn't want to be waitlisted. It's always best to make a reservation, so I would advise you to do so. Enjoy!!

Yes the elevator is glass all around. Great View.
Correction, it doesn't revolve, dang that place sucks now
No, you can walk-in. $8 elevator ride up .
We had a large party of around 18 people an we got our food and drinks within around 35 minutes, the service was amazing, the drinks great, the food was good but not a big selection.
Must the meals are over $25 and the drinks are about 10 to 20 each. A bottle is $100. So definitely over a $100 for 2 people.
I think its like $8 per person to go up to the sun dial but once you are there, you can get that $8 reimbursed when you buy drinks or food.
Yes, there's a bar and lounge on the 3rd floor of the restaurant. It has the highest view.
No. Not sure if they will bring it back. But would love it they did
I was on July 22nd and it was operating.
At the full restaurant on floor 72, during brunch and lunch, appetizers are around $10, sandwiches are around $20, egg dishes are around $15, entrees are around $20, and the NY strip and steak frites are $38. At dinner, appetizers are around $20, and entrees range from $35 to $65, with a tomahawk steak for $160, and desserts are around $15. There is a wide variety of drinks, some of which don't have listed prices, but prices range from $9 for a glass of wine to $260 for the most expensive bottle of champagne. At the bar on floor 73 called LEVEL 73, appetizers are around $20, and desserts are around $10.
They do validate, for up to 3 hours, if you get the restaurant to stamp your ticket. Parking entrance is in the back, off Ted Turner Drive.
Absolut Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Orange Juice.
Definitely call. We called and the process went very smooth and easy.
The food was a bit $$$ but we'll worth it. The best steak and lobster tails EVER.... The chef did his thing...so to sum it up, the food was GREAT..
No. This is an upscale restaurant. If your children are seen and not heard and remain in their seat you are welcome to spend an extra fifty dollars for their presence
I just searched the website and couldn't find anything, sorry. They list Mose Davis Trio, but no times.
You have to make a minimum expenditure of 80. Something like that
It does not currently rotate due to "mechanical issues" but pending a lawsuit it could potentially rotate again.
Sure! They will enjoy the view, but please be careful, dont know if you heard about the incident they had a few years ago with a little one 😢
No it doesn't. At least it didn't when my girl and I went
there's a hourly pay lot around the corner and I think it starts at $10 or $12
The restaurant will validate your parking. The valet service is well marked.
No
If you want a table you have to make a reservation, but if want to go to the bar and have appetizers you don't have to. Enjoy!!
