When you don't eat pork, it's hard to find meat options for a charcuterie. That all changed when I came to the Spotted Trotter. First of all, the customer service is SPECTACULAR!! And the selection, oh my! They have beef bresaola, beef/goat chupacabra, beef/lamb sujuk, and duck prosciutto. All of which are delicious and look amazing for entertaining. The sherry and soy beef bacon is also incredible, as is the jerky. Chef's kiss!! Gluten free cheese straws and Seattle Chocolate were tasty little treats. Can't wait to try the merguez and chicken cheddarwurst.

Update: the 30day dry aged ribeye was worth every penny. Delicious. Literally just left this place. Had to taste the sopressata in the car because I'm a cured meat fiend. Well... Hello! It's delicious!!!! Everyone was very nice as well. Thank you for offering a piece of candy to my toddler, she shoved the whole thing in her mouth (no choking, she's fine. It's her sign of approval). Can't wait to try the steak.

It's the best butcher shop I've ever been to. Not only are the prices already good, they give you 20% off every purchase just for subscribing to their weekly newsletter that's actually crafted quite nicely. I work in a different industry but I love them so much I've picked up an application before. I can't think of a negative thing to say about them. The customer service is perfect, and there's no better place to buy dry aged beef in Atlanta. I wish all my experiences were like this.

Clarence - while we do not make any venison sausage, we do however carry venison. Venison racks, venison tenderloin and venison short loin. We also carry elk, ostrich, emu and kangaroo. Come on in and see us!!!

Hi Exie, Cassandra is correct! We make all of our own sausages. We are a boutique butcher shop with a heavy emphasis on New American Charcuterie. We only use humanly sourced animal proteins, antibiotic free, hormone free and pasture raised. Call and ask. They do special orders, but I'm not sure that "exotic" style meat, like alligator, are in their normal wheelhouse (and from their normal sources).
I've seen it in the display cooler, but I don't know if they regularly stock it. They are very customer oriented, and can make it happen for you.
