I sent in an application and it was sent back to me with a code "return to sender, unclaimed." The post office attempted to deliver but they are NOT checking their PO Box and haven't since Thanksgiving this year. Unbelievable.

Service is extremely slow comparing to the DMV. Why not utilize technology and go virtual like most places do now a day? A web-based application program that allows applicants to apply, upload the required documents, and check the status online would reduce manpower, cost, and wait time. With that said, I'm certain that the staff is doing their best to move as quickly as they can. Thank you for your hard work! Hopefully, something will change in a few years.

These people are rude rude rude!! I called and politely asked to check the status of my license for teaching and the lady was extremely rude. She said and I quote, "it takes 6-8 weeks and that's all imma say," I stated I understood, it was my first time calling and I just wanted to check on it, however, I will check later to which she replied, "please dont. You're only slowing down the process cause we have to stop what we are doing to answer your questions." Ohh...excuse me for you having to do your job. People are going to call you to check on their stuff. Especially a license. If they were applying they would check to. Maybe you should get someone to just answer the phones. I just can't believe how rude and nasty the lady was over the phone. Just awful. Smh. And these are the people that work for the department of education?!

When I called about getting my teaching license the man I spoke with was very rude and unhelpful. I asked questions and he got frustrated by my confusion. It says 6-8 weeks to get your license... expect it to take 12 weeks. I should be 5 weeks in. But they insist I'm only two weeks through.
