Steve was friendly and helpful. The room was aged but my room was clean and fresh smelling. The air conditioning was working great but but pretty noisy. Did not keep me from sleeping however. The tub was fine if shallow. Opted for a relaxing bath, water pressure low, as is expected in an older motel. Quaint courtyard and Steve offered to allow me to stay parked if I was going to walk around town. Great location for Octoberfest too. Plan to stay here if you like old school charm.

Cute little inn located right near the Oktoberfest hall and mini golf. Easily walkable to the shops. The manager was amazing and truly accommodating. He was incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms seemed to be in the middle of renovations. Some of the outlet covers were missing, the floors seemed newly updated, as was the paint. Overall, not a spectacular room, but clean bedding, comfortable mattress, and Roku TV. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck.

I was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews here, but was pleasantly surprised. Our room & bathroom were neat and clean, and Steven was a fantastic property manager, even lighting a bonfire every night to relax at. It's in perfect proximity to Main street that we could park at the property and walk everywhere. It was a great first trip and we'll be back for sure!

We lasted not even five minutes before our bags were back in the car and we were booking another hotel. The office reeks of cigarette smoke — probably should’ve been the first red flag 🚩. The door was open to the room. It was freezing, the floor had not been swept, the bedding was on inside out and had all types of fuzzies in the sheets — pillows were so wrinkly they looking like they were already slept in. There were stains all over the bed cover and every seat in the room had huge stains on them. The bathroom was ever so dingy. Ceiling tiles falling through and the bathroom water barely worked. A curtain blocked off a huge plywood box. We wanted to give this place a shot but it is deceiving. They put new floors down but it doesn’t fix all of the other issues that clearly need to be remodeled and thoroughly cleaned. You walk into the room and are bombarded with a very strong cleaning chemical smell. At first is nice because you think okay the room is clean. But than you start to walk and inspect and come to the conclusion that they overload on cleaning chemicals to try to hide all of the other issues. I would recommend staying elsewhere. Spend the extra money the first time or you’ll be checking out and spending more once you see the room.
