Mom has been thriving at Bellevue Aegis for nearly four years now. She has always been a very social person and needs human interaction to maintain her emotional balance of hope and passion for life. Mom has flourished with the organized social activities and an amazing group of loving staff that truly cares about the residents. She enjoys her interactions with residents and has made some good friends. We also enjoy friendships with staff and residents which make our visits that much more enjoyable. While there is quite a bit of staff turnover, we are always amazed at how they find new people with the same values; it seems to be more than just a job. The new resident induction process was such a relief. They have specialized staff that stayed with mom, well into the night, provided hugs and reassurances during the tearful transition with special attention during the days that followed. Covid was a scary time as the disease tore through our elder care communities across the nation. Aegis adhered to the CDC guidelines with strong results. The isolation protocols were heart-breaking, but necessary to keep our loved ones safe. We feel Mom is in a safe environment, part of an active community, and benefitting from the fellowship. It’s the best outcome we could have hoped for.

Our decision as a family to choose Aegis Living Bellevue for our mother was with much prayer, research and touring of other facilities. We found Aegis Bellevue to be the perfect place for our mom due to the location, size of facility, programing, quality of care, and friendly, professional staff.

Edit after owner's response: The response by the owner is a big lie. I contacted the number for few times. Every time a lady (which is obviously not Howard Jacob) responded and mentioned that Howard Jacob is not available. I will ask my friends and fellow neighbors to share their bad experience with this facility here as well. If you want your parents to sleep well and not wake up because of the noise of truck delivery at 5 AM every day, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE! --------------------------- The manager of this facility does not care and respect their neighbors. We talked to them about their noise from truck deliveries at 5 AM in the morning but they did not take any action. Also, you can smell the smoke when their employees smoke right beside other buildings. When they treat their neighbors like this and don't care about them and their lives, they wouldn't care much about their costumers as well.

My mother has severe memory issues and confusion. The management and staff at Aegis have contributed greatly to her happiness, social engagement and well-being. I believe Aegis Bellevue is the best place on the Eastside for folks like my mother. She truly loves it there.
