Showed up at 4:59 PM just to drop off a prepaid package. They lock the door at exactly 4:59 and I proceeded to show her through the window that it was just a drop off and she screamed NO at me at the top of her lungs. So incredibly rude and unprofessional. Mind you, she was standing in there waiting for a couple of customers to finish up with the were doing. So there was time for me to literally put my package in a drop box. Reading the other reviews just goes to show how the government will literally employ anybody regardless in they are good at their job or not.

Delays and mismanagement are commonplace. Picking up packages from my PO Box often requires talking to staff who have a penchant for rudeness and breaks

this is the second time i put an envelope inside this post office , my envelope does not get to queens . today is the 3rd time i will wait if it arrives

I had the same experience a couple weeks ago - I read the door and understood / believed that like every other post office i go to, masks were optional. one of the employees screamed at me that i needed a mask. i didn’t have one on me, so i went home and then decided to walk to the one on Amsterdam and 104th instead - where, like you said, masks ARE optional
