As a customer, this store has incredible variety and value. I found a $1400 Herman Miller chair for $299. I used to provide job coaching for a volunteer at this store who has a visible developmental disability, and I have volunteered here myself. There is generally flexibility and variety in the many tasks you can perform here. Overall, staff members are friendly, respectful, and treat people equitably.

I love Habita for Humanity! It’s my first go to since buying a house. You can find so many gems at any given time and sometimes almost new stuff at an affordable price!

Friendly helpful staff! Lots of variety of products at awesome prices! I was just by chance stopping by and I found 3 cabinets for my garage. The loading dock guys told me of a 4 matching (but slightly damaged) one. Sold it to me a discount. Saved a ton on my garage remodel!!!

At habitat store in takwuila
Real quick: this sometimes gets employees, but it's mostly bored people who use Google maps answering these questions. Now, the answer. I don't work there, but I work someplace similar. It's hard to recycle parts from something like that, so they can sell it as a "display piece, not for use," OR they can get it recycled properly. If YOU take it apart, they can possibly use some of the parts and fasteners, and take those.
Hi William, we get refrigerators on a pretty regular basis at each store. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page (facebook.com/HabitatSKCStore) for new arrivals, but the best way to know the items we sell is to visit the stores (open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-6pm).
Hi H.D., we unfortunately can't accept window blinds due to the challenges of keeping them manageable in the store (they get opened, tangled, and destroyed pretty easily!) we do accept washers and dryers in working condition that are less than 10 years old.
Go to store and check in
They spray them with sterifab.
Hi there! We do sell gift certificates. Ask the cashier at the register or a Store Manager to get set up with a gift certificate. We don't currently sell gift cards. Thanks for shopping with us.
