The fields need some love. They are in horrible condition. Who can we contact to help fix this?

They have catch and release fishing for fish under certain inches and you are only allowed to take 3 fish per person I think. There is a sign with the info next to the lake
You have to release the bass if you catch them
Yes but I have never seen any in the lake over the past 5 years. There are tons of turtles that are killing off the fish
Yes, an person over 16 years must have a Fishing License. Game Wardens visit here too. Fines are expensive if you don't have one. https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/licenses/fishing-licenses-stamps-tags-packages
Awesome thank you
Yes, many picnic pavilions and gazebos with covered tables and charcoal grills. No reservations required!
Blue gills yes and keep..catfish also..big mouth bass..catch and release
gulp minnows on jighead or free line. also mosquito fish work well free line. simple bottle trap with bread for encouragement. finesse the bluegill. use bluegill for bass
I swear girl I don't think so, they have nice tables with benches for picnics and such..covered but I don't remember seeing BBQ pits..it is super clean, decent restroom facilities and a County employee on duty at all times, he keeps moving on an ATV vehicle...nice walking track...
You can keep as long as its legal size and must have fishing license and as far as what fish is there i am not sure. But it is well stocked and a really big pond for a county park in a city environment. Check it out its a really good place.
Snapping turtles got them.
Yes, but please keep on a leash. No official open dog area to run freely. 💯
Large mouth bass
No ever since the covid it is not been operating.
Well Mister Ea.M.Di.. Everyone . You obviously our going blind and you know why with a name like that. I saw plenty of 2 to 3 lb bass ,and alot turtles , but did not see no cat fish. I up Maine you have to get there early am before all the kids get there cause the kids feed the fish all day. There is no fish action in that pond in the evening .But early am there is some fish action. Try top water action or a worm.
Yes it's a catch and release
Its open 7 days a week but open only daylight hours
It's free... :)
Yes no bass Fishing
They are all catch and release. However I have seen people take them home.
No but you shouldn't have trouble finding a spot to cast
No
I've seen people catch trout mostly. You'll catch bass but you have to release them if you do. So I don't go there anymore.
Only policy they have is don't pet the wildlife.
8 have a Friend who reserved a pavilion there but as far as I know it was free. When you look up the park on maps, there's the contact information
Rainbow trout are added once every year in the 3rd Friday in January. Catfish and bass are stocked periodically throughout the rest of the year.
There are about 10 grills throughout the park including 3 large grills.
No fee and you can fish any spot you like. The place isn't to big so you can work the whole pond easily if you like.
They do have a splash pad it is small tho not a lot of room for kids to play
Harris County Precinct 4 stocks this lake every couple months with rainbow trout, largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish. You might find crappie, but it is not very likely since they do not stock that species.
No, unfortunately they are octagonal fields and triangular fields but no rectangular fields.
Yes you can only fish without one a a state parks this is a county park
You would need to get permission from the commissioner's court in order to do such fund raising. Without such documentation you may not do any kind of fund raising or selling of any kind within the property of the park.
Happy birthday, it is first come basis. Get there early.
Catch and release for Largemouth Bass. 3 per person 12in minimum length for catfish.
I believe it is for organized sports associations. I could be wrong, you might call the county and find out. It appears to be more for a family outing and picnic. And fishing.
There's blue gill, bass (if you can catch them) catfish and they stock the lake 3 or 4 times a year with trout. LOTS of turtles.....
No but dogs are welcomed as long as they are on a leash.
Yes,if you are over 16 years old and under 65 years young. It is a beautiful park. Ducks, pigeons and fish. A fantastic walking trail. Benches to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. The peninsula goes out into the middle of the lake with two covered picnic tables. Water spouts for the children to play in and two play grounds and swing sets. It is a great place to spend the day.
No, unfortunately not. Dogs are welcome in the park, but have to be kept on a leash.
All county parks are regularly closed on Thanksgiving day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. They are open all other days unless there is a hurricane etc.
a
It depends you know? If it rained they won't have it on our they do maintenance but they usually have it on but they turn it off around 5 or 6 I believe
