Yes,if you are over 16 years old and under 65 years young. It is a beautiful park. Ducks, pigeons and fish. A fantastic walking trail. Benches to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. The peninsula goes out into the middle of the lake with two covered picnic tables. Water spouts for the children to play in and two play grounds and swing sets. It is a great place to spend the day.
Can you keep blue gill
Fishing The lake at Bane Park is stocked each year with rainbow trout by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and also contains bluegill, channel catfish, and largemouth bass. Catch-and-release fishing is encouraged.
I think under 16 and over 65 do not. And you don't need a license at state parks.
Yes you do, although the bass are catch and release.
