I recently had to visit Concentra Urgent care. It was for a seemingly quick pre- employment drug screen UA. I arrived at 820 am (they open at 9) just to ensure I was one of the first in/first out people. I would like to add I'm also pregnant, with a baby that likes to jump on my bladder like it's a trampoline, but to ensure I could go right away I had slammed back a couple pints of water before heading down. I ended up being the second person in line. No big deal. We patiently wait, while the line behind us grows exponentially. At 9 am sharp the doors open. We are all checked in. My check in time was 9:02 am. I go sit and wait for my name to be called like I was asked. Over half an hour and several patients goes by. They still haven't called my name. At 940, I go ask the lady up front and say 'hi, I can see you're busy, I am pregnant though and really REALLY gotta pee. It's there any way to get this moving or any idea how long the wait is going to continue to be?' She kindly says I'll see if we can get you in soon. I was not called back until 1015 am. That wait time is UNREAL.

Slow service. Rude front desk associates. I waited an hour for a drug test only to realize they didn’t actually check me in. During that hour the nurses got into like 3 verbal arguments with other people. I understand that usually the customers are the problem and they did play a part in it. The nurses should also learn something called deescalation and not immediately start screaming at people. Although that was one of the more enjoyable parts of the time I spent there. God bless you if you gotta go here.

Very disorganized office with no way for patients to know how long they will have to wait or how many people are in front of them. Multiple services offered but no real timeline as to who gets priority and who has to wait for hours to be seen. I arrived around 10 am on a Tuesday and had to wait over 3 hours for a simple drug test and preemployment checks. Once I was through my drug test I was then informed that the 2nd half of my examination was being pushed back another hour because the people who performed those tests had gone to lunch. The employees have no real consideration for the amount of time people have to block off to be able to come to this facility.

Yes, there was a long wait for my DOT physical. However, there were a lot of people there. It takes time to treat each person. While waiting, the staff was very courteous. Esther, my first point of contact made me feel welcome. She also walked me through the steps I needed to complete. During my physical, the nurse was professional and efficient. The PA has great interpersonal skills and was thorough.
