I brought my daughter's here for their annual well child checkups when they were 6 and 4. The nurse that took us to our room gave us cover ups for them to use and told us Dr. Roscoe would need to check them to see if they're developing right. They had never had a check up where they had to strip down to their underwear and have a doctor look at their privates... we were all extremely uncomfortable with the idea and I didn't have them change. The doctor came in and I explained that I didn't care for it and she somehow talked me into it as if it were completely necessary. I left feeling disgusted with myself for not standing up for what I wasn't comfortable with/letting my kids get traumatized because she wouldn't listen. I vowed to never go back. Fast forward a few years... we moved out of state and then moved back. They recently needed their 10 year and 8 year checkups and I figured maybe it was only Dr. Roscoe that was like that and if not then I would just tell them I don't want that aspect of their ridiculous checkup. We saw Dr. Jimeno and had to wait like 45 minutes in the exam room for her to even come in. I was ready to walk out since that's ridiculous to expect kids to wait that long with nothing to do and we were all getting really hungry. She finally came in and I explained that I didn't want her to check their genital development. She tried saying that it's necessary and it's "quick" (don't care how quick it is, that's besides the damn point). I told her no and she still kept trying to talk me into it. Then I brought up puberty and asked a couple questions and she told me she could check to see what "stage" my oldest was at just by looking at her chest really quick. I still didn't want her to look at anything since my daughter can look at her own damn self and tell me what stage she's at, but for some reason I let her talk me into it even though I still didn't want her to. She completely lied to me and after my daughter was on the exam table to check her chest development she said she was going to check her genitals really quick and then just did it without my consent. Then when it came time for my younger daughter's checkup, she was freaking out about having her privates looked at and it took many times of telling her that they wouldn't just to get her on the exam table. Dr. Jimeno told us that she still had to take her clothes off (except underwear) and put the cover on just so she could check her spinal development and stuff. So she talked me into trying to convince her to put a gown on and it took forever to get her to do it. Then when she was examining her, she decided to check her chest and genital development quickly without any prior consent or warning. I left feeling disgusted, yet again, but even more so this time because you feel extremely violated when a doctor won't listen and take no for answer and then straight up lies to you and your kids to get what they want. Dr. Jimeno was also very rude when I told her that both my daughter's suffered from ear infections frequently. She kept telling me that there weren't enough visits with them documenting it and that she couldn't give me a referral if I didn't come in EVERY time they had one. First of all, I didn't ask for a referral and second of all, I don't need your stupid referral to see an ENT. I was just bringing it up and trying to discuss it. I will NEVER bring my kids here again and I hope no other parent or child has to go through what we went through here. It was degrading and still gives me extreme guilt for letting them traumatize my kids. This is the ONLY pediatrician I've taken them to that has required this with their checkup and they don't even give you the option to opt out. Screw you, woodcreek. You bully, lie and manipulate to get what you want. And for what? WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO LOOK AT MY CHILD'S BODY?? You dont even explain WHY you "have" to check their genital development. You guys shouldn't be in business. Disgusting excuse for doctors.

Great experience at the urgent care clinic. Warm welcoming staff. I was in and out of the clinic in less than a half hour. Everyone I came to meet were stellar and I will recommend Sunrise Urgent Care Clinic as well as continue to go there myself for any future issues. Thank you so much Sunrise!!

I was going there multiple times when my or my son’s primary clinic was closed. Never seemed to have any issues until today. I went there because I am sick: fever, cough, body aches l, and runny nose. I am claustrophobic and wasn’t able to wear the mask, so I had to wait outside where it is 33 degrees outside with a wait time of 1.5 hours. What clinic makes a sick patient wait outside in the cold because they are claustrophobic and ard unable to wear a mask. I am a medical assistant and I do understand that the staff wants to protect themselves but then it is also their duty to wear a mask for the patients that are unable to and this way patient don’t have to wait out in the cold.
