I had a medical emergency and have to go to the hospital for it, so I had to cancel 2 days before my appointment. I am aware that the contract you enter into states that cancelling 7 days before will incur a fee, of which I’m completely fine with paying. I sent an email to Alana, stating I was fine with being charged a late fee, however her response was quite ridiculous to be making to someone who wanted to reschedule their appointment. I was genuinely looking forward to getting my nails done here because she does phenomenal work here, however she has very, very poor customer responses. I will quote here: “I will cancel the appointment for you and you can reschedule online when you're ready. This appointment is only 2 days away and is over 4 hours long, so I will not be likely to rebook all that time, which is disappointing for my income. I depend on people to be there for their scheduled appointments so I can make a living. Please be more considerate in the future when booking that amount of time with someone. It's always appreciated.” I don’t need to point out where this response is extremely abrasive towards new clients, especially when she isn’t aware of what caused the clients to need to reschedule in the first place. I wish her the best and hope that her clients develop premonition capabilities to detect that they will need to cancel 7 days before their appointment because they’ll have a medical emergency 2 days before their appointment.
