The apartment is in renovation for more than 2 months. As the current resident, I live without lobby and gym, and always can not find my packages due to the messy package system and management. Feel unsafe in the apartment even located in the Bellevue downtown since the security system become worse along with the renovations.

Update in mid 2022: - To folks decide to come tour the building: take a look at surrounding construction projects, you can't miss them. Things have not improved in the past 9 months. They are still very disruptive in terms of both noise and traffic. - 1 out of 3 elevators has been down for almost 4 months and counting. One of two good elevators left is freight, so when people reserve that for moving during the day, just imagine how much time gets wasted with 20+ floors sharing a single elevator. - Management decides to close down fitness center for renovation; hits delays, now the gym has been out for 5 months and counting. - With above issues unaddressed, they now closed down building lobby for weeks for more renovation. Front door is completely closed off so everyone needs to use the side door, but good luck telling your food delivery driver to find where that is. Also packages have nowhere to go but get shoved in the mailroom and then stolen, etc. etc. At this point what am I even paying the amenity fees for? Tldr: Still would not recommend. [Original] I've lived in this building for a couple of years now, folks in the leasing office as well as the maintenance team has always been super helpful and a delight to chat with. Soundproofing is also a huge plus to me, with solid walls in these apartments you won't easily hear anything from the neighbors. That being said, the quietness has been ruined by constructions happening in close proximity: there's Avenue Bellevue south west of the community, Amazon building north east, and it looks like the lot right across 10th street has just been repurposed as well - keep in mind these are all projects right next door so you will be in direct line of sight of the construction site. It doesn't matter much which side of the building your room is on, noises usually start around 8am Monday to Saturday though there are plenty of exceptions. Avenue Bellevue is especially terrible because they get noise exemptions for concrete pours at 4 or 5 am multiple times a month. With all this going on, Avalon doesn't seem to have adjusted rent to compensate. Prices pretty much have already gone back to pre-COVID levels, and for what they are I would not recommend choosing here.

Great building and great staff. Concierge Steve helped bring my package to my door sometimes. Really appreciate it, those are heavy ones.. Hopefully next year the rent won’t raise too much so I can continue my leasing here :) Update: However the rent goes up too much so I decide to leave.

Been 6 months at this place. No complaints till now. The maintenance team goes above and beyond with fixing issues in less than 24 hours (special mention to Attila). Ken from the leasing office as well as Cathy and Steve from the Concierge team have been nothing short of phenomenal! Just a tiny nit with all of the renovation issues/delays going on (have not deducted any stars for it because of the supply chain issues currently).
