This facility has been a great place for my oldest son, that has been there since 2012, cause I have guardianship over him since he was 21, and now his is 33. Every time something goes down they contact me always....I really thank this place for keeping eyes on my son well-begin :)

Fulton hospital is not a prison or a DOC. Why are some family members there are being treated as such? They have reviews that are quarterly and annually to get the said patients to get there level drop so they can go to a different facility of a lower level. Tell me why some patients get denied even though the follow the program and made tremendous approvements and still get denied. I know the state hospitals gets crazy amount of money from the state for housing them. So the reason why patients are kept there for “x” amount of years is because of the money there receiving. It’s a money scam from both the hospital and the state. Laws and regulations are needed to stop these leeches from draining our hard earned moneys and make it right for the patients.

Clients have phones that they can use in the living areas, but not cell phones. And staff members are not mean to clients. And i have first hand knowledge of this as I work there
They had the big cemetary just over the hill in the back. Lots of people buried back there.

Most of the patients at FSH are here because of being admitted by a court judgment. If a person is not going through the courts they would be at a private hospital such as St Mary's in Jefferson City.
Depends where he goes but as far as DVD, CD or games...none of those things.
It should open around July 2019, or that is the hope.
It takes 6 months to get a mental evaluation if you are incompetent it'll take another 6 months but if your competent itll be up to the judge then if someone is there they have to wait till the jail picks them up
