My family business was literally robbed and we just got a call saying they can't do anything. We have dates, photo and video evidence and potential names but they say they can't investigate it further. Useless. Absolutely and utterly useless.

Had a very much appreciated report and situation handled by a very honorable humble knowledgeable and concerned Officer Peng thank you for doing your job with pride. I know police officers have had a tough reputation these days with the media. Not officer Peng seems to have been brought up obviously by equally honorable family and can't say enough about how appreciative I am for his time and concern today

Been calling for 2 days now trying to update Info on a report.. nothing ZERO calls ZERO answers except on fb telling me to call.. how the hell do taxpayers not get the people they need?! Hmm.. I could order food 3 states away and it would be here sooner.. thank god no one is bleeding out..

I was told to exit my car with my hands up and walk backwards to a police car then put in handcuffs on august 18th Thursday 1:00am...the police had five police cars surrounding near by. I guess there was a local shooting that just happened. There only description was a red Chevrolet Cruze which I have.. being that it was super early and no one is out I look like the one 😂. I will say overall after I found out why they pulled me over my nerves where relieved because I was innocent but man for a moment I was like what the hell just happened. My actual review is they where the perfect balance between nice and scary. I got no rudeness from them through the whole process and they where passionate with me.

If they have been there more than like 2 or 3 days. They can declare residentcy and after that you will have to go file an eviction notice
Wow - error-in-context from last entry; so, here's the corrected version: Maybe from now on, let them know that they cannot go onto the property, but maybe you -can- collect some information in town about agencies and resources that help people (and maybe ask those agencies for bus passes in order to get there? Wouldn't that be nice if they actually would help you with that...) to give to these people, to steer them in a better and more meaningful direction for themselves.
Wow. Some people are evil. Sorry you are going through that. I'd hate to be that person doing that: imagine the morally low-quality life that they have chosen to exist - just karmically awful. You can call the company that you ordered the item from, and the shipping company that they used, and let them know that the order has been stolen by an occupant of your former address: see if you can try to file a claim with both companies.
There are many solutions, devices and tactics that you can utilize and deploy in advance in order to find out where your car is, so that you're not tempted to feel like you need the police in this circumstance: one of them is just putting something with strong colors on the outside of your car when you leave it.
You have every right to do that, but get ready for retaliation: some cops are highly vindictive, even if it is very wrong that they are, but it is reality. I would be very careful: if all these men are capable of is giving pain and suffering, and nothing else, you betcha that they will keep acting that way the more you tell on them.
Drop him off at the homeless shelter. He may be grateful that he only has a few chores to do after that. There is no law he is breaking...
Most people who criticize this publicly about their own kin are usually abusive family members who are scapegoating someone: I hope this person finds their way away from you and learns to love and respect themself.
I would imagine so. What you're stating seems like the only answer that I can think of that makes logical sense.
I wouldn't talk to one without a lawyer, regardless of any situation, and if you have to talk to them, I would bring a couple of witnesses. In Texas, there is Bryan Wilson, the Texas Law Hawk: he has a great website. I think all citizens should stay away from the police at all costs from having any interactions with them alone until this country changes.
Oh my gosh I am so sorry: this sounds awful. I hope you got the help that you needed: I see that this is 3 months past.
Sounds like constructive eviction, which is a legal term. I would suggest looking up the term, and getting in touch with legal aid. But, this was two years ago. Hope you figured it out.
Thank you for loving your kid, and standing with your family no matter what. I would be proud that you were my parent for never giving up on me, and believing in me.
There was once a movement in this country called the Sovreign Citizen movement, where people did not find it right or necessary to be obligated to show ID all the time. Although I disagree, it's what they believed. I don't think that you are a bad person for not wanting to show your ID to a cop - and it has been proven that unprofessional cops have misused ID information to stalk personal targets for personal vendetta: women have even been stalked by male police officers who were pulled over, and asked to provide identification. So, I get it. It's definitely not a crime to be pulled over for a traffic infraction - and it should not be treated as such. I am sorry that you went through this that you were made to feel unsafe in any way by a police officer for ANY reason: if a police officer ever does something that greatly concerns you in ANY situation, there is a website where you can report possible police misconduct, and that is the Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division.
Why this question was not answered in a timely fashion by this police department shows the disrespect level toward the concern of its citizens. How nice of you to look out for someone.
I think the Ex Parte would probably stay in place, but criminal charges might be argued down if the disability proves the behavior is related to medical diagnosis. Which is just an opinion, and why everything needs to be discussed in a courtroom. Hopefully you both have good representation.
That's why we need to form citizen crews of volunteers who are just good neighbors, looking out for each other - even a social justice group coming into tough areas, to bring people to better hospitals: the more arrogant and discriminatory or bigoted an EMS crew is to the poor in refusing to transport them to a better hospital, the more that social justice groups have to step in, and think of the transport situation for them - and we're just going to have to start doing this, ourselves. Public Enemy did not lie for so many with "911 is a joke". A lot of older Christians are resorting to seeking faith healers to avoid the abuses of emergency personnel, especially if they are poor or of a marginalized class - and that can be very sad because they deserve the help without abuse yet I do hold onto the truth that an Almighty power is ultimately in charge of that person's healing: it's too bad that several EMS workers refuse to submit to that same Divine Healer.
I would ask other citizens or review forum boards before asking cops: I can see the practicality in asking a police department this question, as it makes sense to do so - especially if they have answered a lot of calls for that specific hotel; however, cops are very rude and nasty typically and some act "put upon" to help you with this, so it's just better to talk to the average person around town about it: they can tell you more, and will be a heck of a lot more honest and candid with you about it.
...and imagine the perpetrator to be a cop....
You never know: cops have codes, and specific, and elusive ones that are even made-up only within their departments to communicate with each other - some are very, very mean - and they loooooooovvve that you don't get it. It's rude: it's like someone talking badly about you right in front of you in a language that they purposely use with each other, because they know you don't understand it.
You usually have a lot of rights. I would suggest joining a father's rights group: there are plenty online.
Cause they dont in force the laws. Have to wait for the judge.
Because some people have decided to permanently part from their Creator.
...and, could you imagine that some people who do this are actually cops? Then try to understand why most don't care that this happened to you, as truly awful as it is: which is why we need to re-think policing in our country, if not the world.
...I hope the sidewalks don't have divits, but if I were your family I would definitely prefer that you were on the sidewalk so my hair would gray at a slower rate.
I would get a public defender, and ask them to get a copy of the report: the less contact your family has with the police, the better.
No way
Sounds like a civil issue.
That's very nice that you took the picture. I hope this police department invites it if you turn it in to a tipline, or crime tip website. Would you believe, though, that corrupt police departments in the US have both failed to protect the identities of witnesses, and also were as abusive and nonsensical to even falsely implicate people trying to help? I hope these people are not like this.
I don't think so. If they're not blocking a driveway, or another street, I don't see how they're doing anything wrong.
😟 I'm sorry that you have an abuser.
Seventh Day Adventists and other Christians celebrate their Holy day of rest on Saturday, as well as other faiths: I highly doubt any of these cops need time off to go to worship their Creator, as most do not acknowledge a higher authority besides themselves, so they might very well be open on Saturday.
I am sorry that you couldn't see your little one: I would rightfully flip the heck out and be upset, which is why people who are manipulative, abusive and controlling probably do these things: because they know it hurts you. And using a kid as a control piece is just mean. I hope you got through it. Please research parental alienation.
The bus drivers are usually pretty good at handling this, and they do provide masks here, which is very kind, just in case someone forgets.
I think it's about filing an FOIA request.
PETA has a great all-hours CID unit if no one here will help you. If I were there with you at that moment a year ago, I would have become very upset about the situation, and probably wouldn't have been able to sleep until we got the abuse to stop for that animal. Thank you for being concerned about animals.
I guess it matters what kind of mask it is, not sure. A lawyer would know this answer more readily - or, one can find the answer online, themselves.
That's a really good question. I know the loudness can be too much for combat veterans and animals, but it sure is pretty. Wondering if there are less noisy brands of fireworks out there.
I would imagine any registered Justice of the Peace, right? I mean, if you are legally allowed to get married in this country, even when incarcerated, then anyone should be able and allowed to do this. Perhaps the prison or jail chaplain? I, myself, would pick a pastor who also does prison ministry. I hope, that, if you did get married two years ago, that you had a very happy wedding.
If they are jailing someone, the jail must disclose that information, as it is part of Habeas Corpus, unless there are certain circumstances that the inmate indicates could impede upon their safety that they elect without being under duress, to not want it to be disclosed to certain parties, I am gathering, if it is proving to be a danger to them for a certain party to know, but I think this is only in extreme cases.
These people don't believe in saving time for the Lord our God, so I don't see why it wouldn't be open.
Go find it and take it back...lol thats a question for the department of motor vehicles and or a lawyer
noise ordinance is from 11 pm to 7 am. After 11 pm you should call 911
They have no right to do that. I am very much against smoking anything, but that's still unbelievably wrong, and there is absolutely no justification in that. That's a violation of your privacy, but don't ask a male cop to be sympathetic to you, because they violate the privacy of women all the time.
Call police and explain what's going on
...but you have to understand that asking a bunch of male cops with severe emotional problems who lie to people, manipulate, gaslight, twist information, turn things around, destroy public morale, and are abusive to women behind closed doors, who have chosen to serve the underworld, and are bound for an eternity in hell - asking them to solve the problem is going to lead society astray even more - because they are emotionally and morally bankrupt and not capable of creating compassionate solutions. The answer is to get together in community groups, encourage communication with and between our families, including civilly talking to parents of those we may be displeased with in an open forum-manner, and finding solutions besides contacting the police. I hope we do not need these people, because they are not who we think that they are, and they present a false image. There are many alternatives to calling the police. AND: if there's a bullying problem, adult bullies cannot solve it.
Code enforcement would probably know this answer more - and I find that people in code enforcement can be a heck of a lot more knowledgeable, and kind to citizens with any questions or concerns than a cop would.
Probably because they are dealing with other crimes? I dont think they are lazy. Spfd has the friendliest police I have ever seen. I am sure they will help you. Just have to be a bit patient.
No. 20 ft or so
Most cops nowadays act "above" answering alarm calls, as narcissistic as they are: they think it's "beneath" them - the false image of the humble and "nice, nurturing problem-solver...slow to anger, and a caregiver" has always been a false image to so many that society has tried to push - and yet it is compartmentalized where the cop is nice to Mr. & Mrs. Jones down the street, but harasses and terrorizes Ms. Williams' family because they are black, or poor, or because the house is run by a matriarch, instead of a man, therefore the two-faced, predator cop predatorizes the family of Ms. Williams - but nobody protects the Williams family - and furthermore, it doesn't help that privileged Mrs. Jones keeps talking about how "wonderful" their local cop is. So yes: if you were in the "who's who" back in the day, you had your alarm answered: nowadays, they don't really care any which way, so maybe it's becoming more equal now.
This is better off at the Attorney General's of Missouri's office, or at the Federal Trade Commission: both websites for both agencies can be found online. Also the State Attorney's office might be able to direct you. Hope you were able to get the help that you needed.
Wondering two years ago if you called them first, and if you did, that they did not help you - and then you had to resort to this. If so: so sorry no one answered the phone to help you, after you seem so polite, and deserving of respect to at least be promptly answered, and given a call, or have been responded to. Says more about them.
When i lived in portland Or you could call animal control. They would speak to the person and eventually fine them if necessary. You would need to know the dogs address and it would help to film it with your phone. Portland is a bigger city and had clear leash laws.
Depends on the issued service weapon decided upon, usually a semi-auto, single-action. May be porting, may not. It depends on budget, who they order from, etc. Good question: I bet there might be transparency laws where you can look this up. I wouldn't ever ask a cop, because they often lie to "protect" themself.
I would call some personal supports of friends, and a crisis intervention team if I could - social workers coming in to help are far more effective than cops.
Pray. I believe in the power of prayer. If you are an atheist, send vibes into the cosmos that they will change their lives instead of willfully turning their precious brains into Swiss cheese. A little noise for you, a lifetime chosen of brain damage for them. When you think about it, I personally believe that they're destroying God's Divine Creation: themselves. Can be very sad. Hope the music is good.
How and what do I do
Call you local police department.
That is the Greene Co. Sheriff Dept, not the Springfield Police department.
Lawyers cost $ and i already pay taxes...for polic
