I dealt with a Specialist named Ms.Caldera.She exemplified what and how a true public servant should do and how they should treat people. She was so graceful so kind so patient and so so wise. She restored my faith in County government. She should train everyone who attempts this job. THANK THANK YOU THANK YOU Ms. Caldera you are an angel.

Child support office expects you to do all the work for them while they get paid to pretend to care
Marivette Paez
Why are the telephone lines always busy and hangs up , then when I call after 4 they say their close, high volume of calls every day and it hangs up, I can’t get help online or at the office.

Good people who are very helpful

Is hell and hard to get innocent done down there and letting you go sit down there personally and demand to see somebody make anything happen I tell him I ain't leaving until I speak with a supervisor or somebody
When you walk in, stop at the front desk there. Let them know you need a new EBT card. They will ask you for a picture ID and hand you back a form along with a ticket to be called to windows 13 or 14. There you will receive your actual EBT card.
Laura, you could try calling them, but if you have a means of getting to their office on Pecos, that'd be better. Go in, tell the front counter assistant that you want to find out why. In my opinion they deliberately confuse ppl on when their recertification dates are due to get out of giving out benefits. And don't leave until you're positive of what AND when they require you do, so you can get them again. Happened to me this last month. I now have to reapply because all the time they took to confuse me, expired my appeal date... I'm screwed. So get in there asap. Good luck to you!
Yes, but also you can do it online together with several other forms of assistance in one central application. They tell you which different programs you qualify for. It is really quick & easy to use. The website is called Colorado Peaks.
Yes
Thornton food banks
There is also a drop box outside
They are open for walk ins now
Call when the first open. 730 i believe. You'll still be on hold but you'll be able to get through
You just need to go there and apply.
Connect with a local church or food bank. They have resources and or phone numbers that ought to help
You have two ways: the first is to go to the postal service and to request a form where you will fill out your new address and request that your mail be sent there and the second one is to go to Adams County but I do not recommend you, it is problematic and will request many documents.
Not closed.
Yes they can.
Its never happend to me.great peeps working therr
Understand the frustration completely. Hope you found what you needed. Be well.
Yes. Located out front of the main entrance. It is secured and monitored.
No specific email address I can offer but you can drop your document's off at the building located at 11860 Pecos Street Westminster, CO 81234 or you may be able to upload them to your Colorado PEAK account. If your received a "Request for More Information" letter, follow instructions in the letter about how the county would like you to submit your documents. If you are applying to Broomfield County for assistance, you will need to contact them directly about their process.
You can reapply for benefits to get the process restarted from home by going to the Colorado PEAK website. I hope that helps!
Hi Jennifer, I'm sorry to hear that your interview hasn't taken place. Please feel free to reach out to us at https://www.adcogov.org/forms/contact-human-services and we will have someone follow up with you directly.
Yes you can. Office opens at 8 am.
Adult neglect who do I contact Adams County not answering
The lady at the front desk will direct you, they move quickly there, so the wait isn't bad
Nope.. wish they did tho
Thats actually pretty typical of the system. They probably mailed you something that takes forever to get to you. I would suggest logging into your work force account and see if you they sent you anything or if you can find info there. Otherwise wait until they open Tuesday and call them
u need to go to the Adams county Human Services and tell them that you need to apply for Medicaid, they will give u an application fill out and give it back to them and that same day
Not sure. However if you go to the Motor Vehicle building on Sable Road. Which is West on 120th. You may be able to get it there. I would call them first to find out. I hope this helped you. Good night.
I recommend going to the Colorado Peak website. There you can research your status and eligibility. Colorado.peak.org.secure.force.com
I dont think so by it's a federal holiday
Three months ago they sent my sister a fax number and all the requested documentation was sent, the weeks passed and they didn't answer anything, in December we returned to the offices and nobody ever received anything, despite having the evidence of what was sent, no There is a secure fax number, my sister lost the requested benefit, I advise you to go to the offices.
It depends, do you have a fax machine? If not, do you have a scanner? You could scan your paperwork and then E-mail your divorce papers anywhere you could fax them.
If they dont provide the service they can send you in the right direction. Maybe with a referal it could be faster
It is classified as the same household if it is the same address.
Dess Sanchez, go in person, that's the best option.
They'll give you one once you are approved.
Www. Colorado. Gov/PEAK to create a new account
Ok thank you. Do you know ig they have help with same day housing? I'm a single mother of 3 and dont want them in the streets or in motels.
Yes, you can. In order to apply for CHP+, you'll have fill out a Medicaid application.
If they want schooling they can go to Social Services and talk to Goodwill Services or if Military related they can check with Family Tree Also can check with a Social Worker. Also they can go to Adams County Work Force Department on 120th and Pecos and there's a DMV RIGHT THERE. ALSO NEED TO CHECK WITH ADAMS COUNTY TO SEE IF THEY HAVE ANY MORE RESOURCES THAT MIGHT HELP THEM. ALSO CHECK WITH OTHER STATE OR COUNTIES IF NOT IN ADAMS COUNTY. GO ON THE WEB AND LOOK AT ADAMS COUNTY GOV SITE
I advise you to do things the old fashioned way and go down there. Sometimes the "convenience" of technology comes at the price of mixed signals and communications which can make things more difficult.
Go right when they open is the best time to go and not in the first week that's the busiest
Hello Daniel, Here us a link to the Colorado.gov website which will give you info on how and where to file as well as let you start a claim online. https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/cdle/unemployment
Not really
Probably delayed
The best way to reach CCAP is to stop in and grab a ticket from the kiosk. Just push the button labeled "Child Care Assistance Program" and it will give you a B# which will be called up to windows one or two.
Have you tried using online services?
Sign in with your government issued ID and they will reissue one for you at that time.
Hello Darlene, It's been awhile since I applied but I believe they have more than one depending on who the representative you are assigned is at the application stage. You can dial 211 from your phone now to start an application for benefits. This just started late last year. Here is a link to the info and benefits you can apply for. https://211colorado.communityos.org/zf/profile/service/id/50323 I hope this helps.
The fax number will depend on the department you need
This has happened to me as well. The only way I got through was to after being hung up on call back several times back to back only then did I get through.
I'm not sure sorry I can't help
I just got off the phone while waiting for your response with denver food stamps and they said his foodstamps would be lowered. Is Adams and Denver guidlines different?
Yeah they are always busy
Medicaid needs proof of income, citizenship, property (cars, bank accounts, life insurance --1 home allowed), medical expenses for last 3 months, rental/mortgage expenses, utilities. For all household members. If you go in and apply, your application starts that day, even if you need to return with verifications
Go to the food stamp office and report them.
They will see you Monday thru Friday but I recommend making an appointment and getting the required paperwork completed ahead of time. You can start the application process online as well.
No you can walk in and do applications ur ask questions about your benefits etc
They may be able to help. I would go in and ask. I know there are some income based senior living places in commerce city colorado
Yes you do
It's easier to apply online then set an appointment for either a phone interview or in person interview.
Come in and speak to the greeter
This place is up to date and a lot less wait times then Jefferson County
Colorado peak website. Just Google it, and it should come up.
Go to the office and get the application there
You will have to return to the office for another.
Its inside the HSB. 11860 pecos st. Go in the doors and take a right all the way down the hall u will see a sign for housing..
C because of of the amount of people that needs help these days these people have a hard time caring since they hear it every day all day long
Thank you as well I had thatsame question. I've been waiting almost a month for an interview when they said a week. Kim I was told also that all applications were expedited, but if waiting this long means expedited, I would hate to see how long it would take if they weren't. I also think I better go in to the office instead of waitin. for a call because the others are right, on the phone they Will tell you whatever you want to hear but in person they'll have to do something. I suggest going in to the office. Be there right when it opens so you don't have to wait in line for a long time. I'm in need of food as well, I have to kids so I am especially in a rush. I have a few suggestions on jobs too if you're interested. If you are shot me an email address and I'll let you know. I know of at least 2 or 3. I hope everything gets settled for you. Prayers
Bluesmoothsonic, we'd like to but where do we start?
Just keep trying you will eventually get through. Or go there 11860 Pecos if you go in the a.m. your wait is shorter most times.
I know in the past, years ago, they did have a 1 time rent papayment available
Call and find out
You have to call or go to the office do not be lazy when it comes to your benefits call at 7:30am
Yes it is difficult. I stay on hold, in queue line 45mins to an hour, but they do answer and deal or answer q&a. Adams Co has more clients than almost any other county. Be patient.
Call frist at 7,30 am
When persons need help, they need help. It's a hit or miss with people however they encourage you to go after the 10th. Patience would be good to have when you go 'cause ya never know.
If I were you I'd talk to your payroll first to see if they have been taking the child support out, if they have, then you should call child support dept to find out why the payments taken from your paycheck haven't been posted to your child support
Call and there is an option for the fax number
I need to get my food stamp benefits back my temporary work assignment ended on 1/18/2020
You'll have to call them Adams County Human Services, but don't call them until mid-week will never get in
Probably a social worker teen cousler bieng a good parent listen
No you have to go to the court house in the county where you were married they will help you with child care child support
Yes they informed us they were moving to that location
The good thing is, adams county doesn't have their numbers blocked like other counties do, so when you leave a message and they call you back, it will be that persons office number that shows up on the caller id
They're holding everyone
