Rude, slow and wont be back. It makes no sense I've been in the ER over 12 hours. Today is Nov1, 2022. Im ready to check out RIGHT NOW.

Like many others, I have had a terrible experience with St. Marys. A family member was admitted there recently and I couldn't be more disappointed with the care. We received very little updates. When we called to inquire, the staff didn't seem to know much about the status. Tests we thought were being done that day weren't done for 2 days. Finally we were told a discharge date but were unable to get a time until we were called and had to drop everything because of they were discharging my family member immediately. They seemed understaffed and while the nurses we interacted with in person were great, they seemed really burnt out. I'd give one star but I guess I should be thankful my family member made it through their stay.

A cold and unpleasant place. If one has a choice go somewhere else. My fellow neighbors have also had bad experiences there. If the Livonia police or EMS takes one there, the person is struck there until ,hospital release.

This place, my mom has going to for years , last 7 months had to go to ER 3 times . Long story short , waited in the waiting room 7 hrs . Before she was looked at in a room with a Dr. One of those trips was 2 weeks ago .Today after having a severe cough and being real weak , I had to take her back to ER . Checked in right away , hour later Dr. Took blood and information . They sent us back out to waiting room . As we arrived approx . 4 people a head of us , at check in , I said how long will this take because last 2 trips here sat in waiting over 7 hrs . She said not that long . I believed her cause the other times waiting room was pretty full , compared to today only a few people . As a few hours passed the waiting room started filling up . Here sits my mom over 4 hrs. Later coughing real bad . Went up to desk and ask could you check with Dr. And see if he can give her something for her cough . No , can’t give people in waiting room medicine, I said can they wheel her back there give her anything , she’s cough like crazy , where everyone in waiting room could hear her . Still No ! Two people sitting around us both mention , this place has changed , guy said they don’t care about people like they use too. At this time my sister arrived. I said I have to go beforek I make a seen . As I write this now hit the six hour mark still nothing . Shame on the people running this place , wreaked a good hospital . As I left seeing a dozen of people 70 and iup sitting in wheelchairs , some like my mom over 6 hours , some don’t realize how long they’ll be sitting there . I will be contacting some TV stations , and other Departments, with this complaint , see if News can get answers I’m sure they see the waiting room they’ll have they’re story . Be honest and tell people it’ll be 7-9 hrs. So they can go somewhere else . If I knew it would of been over 6 hrs and counting I would of left !! Shame on you’s after today and previous 2 visits WE WON’t be BACK !! Thanks for the many years of great service till this last year !!
