Had service scheduled for the morning. 9 AM - 1 PM time window. Hadn’t see anyone by 1230 so I doubled checked online. They had they were still coming. Checked again at 2. Same answer. Checked again at 330 and was told my technician had gone home for a personal issue and wouldn’t be able to do my dishwasher repair that day. When my repair was rescheduled, they couldn’t reschedule for 3 days. No effort was made by Sears Home Services to speed up my timeline after their tech cancelled my original appointment day. I understand things happen in life but the least they could do is try to get someone to me the next day to handle my dishwasher repair. But no, 3 day wait from the day of the original appointment. It’s a shame too. I’ve had good experiences in the past, but 3 of my last 4 have been really poor, including one refrigerator repairman who did the bare minimum and said “I think your problem is XYZ” but never fully checked to see why anything wasn’t working properly. I wish other companies would service Kenmore products but every other appliance repair guy I call says, “Oh, it’s a Kenmore? Call Home Services.” Also note, this specific location may not be the offender, but there is no way to book appointments locally. Going through the website or even phone calls, you get some customer service rep somewhere that has no local knowledge of what’s happening locally. So I’m leaving my review here as a general warning of Sears Home Services.

Had a problem with water leaking from refrigerator. Less than an hour labor later and no parts cost, I was billed over $400. Notified Sears CEO office and, whatever language used, was pretty much told tough luck pal.
