First, the positives: the check in process was great and the staff was extremely friendly. That’s it… Cons: The rooms are dated, dirty, and falling apart. Our bed wasn’t completely made, our phone had no buttons, the fan in the bathroom was not working (not legal). On top of this, we had to ask for sheets and pillows for one of our beds because there weren’t any in the room. The smell is cigarette smoke and weed was terrible throughout the hotel. Tip: Don’t stay here unless you need to especially if you have a family…

It was my first time in Wilkes Barre and I arrived at 11:pm. However, Michael (counter service) was very friendly. Room, facilities and service were good. No problem staying there again if I return to Wilkes Barre one day

Everything was fantastic. One of the best holiday inns I've ever stayed at. Great food, hot tub, pool, sauna, room and room was fantastic. Outdoor fire pit and dining domes for cold weather. Outstanding hotel.

For the price I paid over President's Day weekend I felt it was too expensive for the quality of the room. First, having to wait a few minutes for the tv to start working/connecting? Horrible internet connectivity. So many times it just dropped. The fridge was off balance so each time I opened it the frig would start to tip over. The shower head was crusty and the sink would have a high pitch whine when turned on. The overall decor of the room is also dated and worn out. The only reason I would give two stars is that the staff was very nice and friendly.
