Bathroom was caulked horribly in an attempt to cover the collected black mold and mildew. Carpet was gross. Room smelled like old smoke and body odor. Neither of which we have. Pool was black on bottom. I do NOT recommend staying here if you have family or pets.

Our stay at the hotel was necessary as our home was being renovated. We also had our 2 grandchildren who enjoyed the indoor pool everyday after school. We had 2 connecting rooms to make it even more enjoyable as our stay was 8 nights. It was comfortable, clean and convenient. Free Breakfast and also close to many restaurants, shopping and the beach. It felt like home away from home. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this hotel when visiting this area.

Positive: I was greeted by name. Asked to provide ID and credit card for incidentals. Whispering behind the desk, then says to me "your card was declined we are charging the full amount of your stay." What?? No notice prior to arriving? NO and SO wrong! Negative: The guy who claims to be managing an empty hotel. "Offered" to charge the full stay after confirming original charge went thru successfully. He attempted to cancel my reservation against my will. 3 unauthorized cc charges totaling $185, instead of $5 hold

Room needs update. First the toilet wouldn't flush because chain was off handle. I needed to use chair ottoman to get on bed because it was too high. Got called at 5 am to move car because a trucker couldn't get out of lot. Unique experience, I thought a discount or a free night should have been offered. The employees were all great and the breakfast was good.
