Crystal Beach Oceanfront Hotel

Well after reading all the horrible reviews, all 19 of us decided to give it a try. Our price went way down prior to our arrival, and of course it was honored. Thank you Rochelle in reservations for that. Upon arrival we were accommodated with an early check in, as our rooms were ready. They put us all next to each other which was awesome. Thank you Hannah for that. My wife and I noticed our door was having trouble unlocking and wasn’t opening from the inside. We ran into Roy the maintenance man outside and within 5 minutes he was up at our door fixing it. Thank you Roy for that. So overall we had an amazing weeks stay and all of us are looking forward to next years stay. Almost forgot to mention Barracuda’s food and drinks were very good the service was exemplary, we all ate breakfast and lunch there almost every day. Thank you everyone can’t wait for next year.

Nice hotel and very convenient location that is close to the beach and boardwalk. Only problem we had is that one of the bed sheet in our room was dirty and so does the other towels. Their room phone doesn't work so we had to wait until the next day to have it changed. The room cleaners doesn't know how to change bedding so have we had to do it ourselves.

We changed from our first hotel to this one. The staff everywhere was very nice and helpful. The room was clean. Could use a little maintenance but we didn't care about that and not really going into nit picking the room. The food at there restaurant was probably best we had all vacation. The pool was warm which seems silly but last hotel was so freezing no one would get in. I recommend this hotel for sure. Thank you to the staff especially front desk ladies.

So, we haven't even stayed yet, but these reviews, and the way the staff spoke to us when we've called with questions, make me want to find a different hotel. Unfortunately it's last minute. I really hope things have been updated and the cleanliness improved since. I hope to be able to come back with a decent if not great actual review. 😕
