Such a peaceful place - at least it is on a weekday when it is snowing! The firs along the trail are amazing and SO HUGE - the trail is interesting with some elevation change along the way. Know it can be a busy hike at times - but absolutely worth a visit!

Good hike, about 45 degrees temperature Sunday morning the 31st Oct. Bathrooms were clean and a lot of parking.the trail is really tight before the falls and the rocks can be slippery even with the right boots or shoes

Great short hike!! Even on a dreary day I've loved this hike for years! In the fall/winter you can go mid afternoon and almost see nobody on a weekday. Great for dogs! Can't get as close as you used to be able too since the slide. But if you keep right you can get pretty close!

This is a very busy trailhead, even if its pouring rain on a Sunday evening. That said, there is a pit toilet at the trailhead. Note you can start this trail at many points on the One way road! So you can make this short hike even shorter. The trail itself is easy with clear markings, you have a beautiful river flowing below you and the trail is fairly wide with enough spots to stop and enjoy the views. The one way road to get back to 90 takes a ways back, but it removes the chaos of two way traffic on a narrow road, you need NW forest or America the beautiful pass for this trailhead. Enjoy.

Open year around, during the winter the falls freeze, bring strap on ice cleats to prevent falling down
No gold here I got it all already
Just sit anywhere off the trail there's places to relax
