Great short hike to the view lookout (0.8 mile). Lots of river view spots along the way as well. My watch said it was a total of 300ft elevation gain which ain’t too bad either. All in all it was quite pleasant even on a holiday with lots of other hikers on the trail.

Easy hiking trail located in the North Bend area. Very gorgeous and PNW to hike during the Spring. You can park at the upper parking lot and hike 0.9 miles to the Falls or you can start at the lower parking lot where the head trail is and hike to the upper lot for 2.2 miles. Once you pass the Falls nothing much interesting besides getting more steps in. I think it can be a bit difficult if you start getting into hiking. Overall worth the hike. The Falls and rivers were gorgeous!

Great Saturday hike 11/20/21, got to the trail a little late, almost 11am, luckily someone was leaving as we got there so was able to park in a designated spot (a lot of people parked on the road at the no parking signs). Trail was pretty clear minus the one downed tree lots of people mentioned on WTA app. Went down the steps a mile and a half or so down the trail which had great views of the big falls and then continued up to the bridge for the smaller falls. Was pretty packed and hiking with the little so didn't go up the last little bit this time but will definitely finish next time. Highly recommend for a quick-ish hike with beautiful views.

A hike with just the right difficulty that leads to gorgeous views. It might be a bit difficult for those with little kids (with mom and dad having to do more carrying than they would like). Don't be fooled by the bridge that overlook the falls and think that's the end. Go just a little further up the steep slope and get a great view that overlooks the falls.

If you want. It's swift, cold and shallow. Rocky. There's a couple beaches in behind dispersed campsites half way between exits 43 and 47 on homestead Rd.
