Awesome place to go check out. Especially during Christmas time! All the lights and shops are fun to see.

Interesting tourist attraction. I would stop by along your drive, but not drive specifically for it.

Yes you can. You can stand in Arizona and see the London Bridge
I no da wae to da London bridge
It was moved in 1968, to be a tourist attraction. At the time, Lake Havasu City was being developed as a planned community. Other than the Bridge, the best attraction in Lake Havasu City is the Lake and access to the Colorado River.
Stone by stone. They also had to dig the channel it crossed thus creating an island to which the bridge provides access. Pretty amazing. Visit sometime and see the museam.
It's a regular fixture of the neighborhood.
Wow, I never heard those stories. We were there at night to see the lights. We saw no such evidence of ghosts or anything like that. We saw plenty of people having a great time.
This was sent over here from there not sure about any other bridges there but this is a must check out history , very fascinating history on it . Beautiful bridge
October. Not sure on the dates. I only know because my brother in law was invited to March in it since he did in 1971.
There is great history here! The man was brilliant. Lake Havasu was a planned community that he started. The bridge in London was bombed. He bought the bridge, had the outer bridge blocks numbered and shipped over. Meanwhile he sold the interior parts of the bridge stone for way away more money than he bought the bridge for and used that cash to help fund the building of the city. Now the bridge is the 2nd most visited attraction in the state continuously bringing in revenue to date. You should read about it.
Yes. Jetboattour.com Adult $75 child $55. Must be at the dock by 9:30am
Quaint little shops downtown Havasu.
October 10th 1971 is the date I believe it was officially opened.
There are things to do for all ages. I would avoid spring break. Very crowded and out of control.
You can contact the Lake Havasu chamber of commerce an ask them you're question they'll be able to help u with yur questions
There are stores by the bridge open as well as throughout the city
I have an old marble chessboard that says it is a piece of the London Bridge. Could this have been from your gift shop many years ago?
Things change due to state mandates... Best thing to do is call the Visitors Center at 928/855-5655 since they are the ones providing tours. The volunteers there can tell you when they conduct the tours.

The London Bridge in Lake Havasu is the one from London that was removed to build a more modern one. The bridge in Lake Havasu was purchased by the property developer and rebuilt there as a tourist attraction.
Yeah each block is specifically numbered so that it could be transported here. It was supposed to commemorate a good relationship between the United States, and London.
Yes
It started to be reassembled in 1968 and opened in 1971. So math says 4 years, but probably just over 3.
Yes it is

It is THE LONDON BRIDGE.
It is the 2nd largest attraction in Arizona. The Grand Canyon is #1.
