If you plan to come to this location, I’d heavily recommend a reservation, or id recommend a light snack before coming by. The parking here is in the back and can get a little congested, but there’s street parking a few blocks away. Service here was really great! I thought they worked well as a team. It seemed as though my water was full every time I looked over. As for the food, I thought it was good overall. I ordered the breakfast burrito, my wife got a skillet, and friends got the pancake. I’m harsh critic on breakfast burritos. Typically, I don’t like breakfast potatoes in my burrito because it’s a cheap filler. However, I thought mine tasted pretty good. The first thing I noticed was an over easy egg on top, which I appreciated. It was different. After biting in, I noticed the freshness of the tortilla, which goes a long way for me. If you order a pancake or waffle, it comes with the fruit bar which was a pretty cool idea - you can decorate and add to your hearts desire. I would recommend this area if you live in the area, and you are looking for a consistent brunch experience. If you’re visiting, I might recommend something that stands out a little more.

Despite a popular 21 Pilots song, one should absolutely Believe the Hype around Portage Bay. A wide brunch menu contains offerings for every pallette, from the most die hard carnivore to gluten free and vegan individuals. Everything is made with care and craft, delighting the senses. Inside is a classic slick modern look, classy yet unpretentious. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Seattle and looking for morning eats.

We kept wondering about this place as we always saw long queues and when we went to this place it was totally worth the wait!! We had food-blast!!! They have amazing seasonal menu on top of regular menu. We got Egg Benedict, Salmon Benedict, Swedish Pan cakes, Philly style Scrambled eggs and from season menu Mushroom - Veggie Omelette. Food was delicious and yummy. They have also have side table with fresh fruits, cream and butter and various toppings for pancakes.

I want to start this off by saying my review does not reflect in any way the staff or their behavior. All the staff I interacted with were wonderful. I was really disappointed by my experience here. I'm a HUGE eggs Benedict fan and I have consistently been recommended this establishment for their renditions of this dish. I made a reservation, and though I got to the restaurant on time, I was told I would need to wait an extra fifteen minutes due to the restaurant being busy (to be fair, it was very busy. But then what was the point of my reservation which I made weeks in advance?). A positive was when we did get seated, our food came out rather quickly. And I want to say I liked it, but I was thoroughly disappointed with my Benedict. I felt their English muffin was heavy and biscuit-y in texture, but by far the worst was that both of my poached eggs had hard yolks (not by my request). The carnitas were a mix of some perfect bites, and some incredibly dry ones. I would say that I was disappointed by the quality of my meal, considering the reviews I've gotten previously. Once again, the staff were excellent people, and they sure know how to handle business! I just wish my experience could have been better.

I had a large group of 11, so yes, we made a reservation. They do do reservations, so probably would if more than 2 in your party. As stated above, they are very busy, especially on weekends. Otherwise, you can wing it, but be prepared to wait.
