This church does incredible work in the community. They do more than just feed the homeless—they actively work to help find housing solutions for people. But solving homeless doesn’t happen overnight. Perhaps the folks commenting about the church’s programs “ruining the neighborhood” could, instead of complaining about having to interact with homeless men and women, come see how they can get involved to help solve the problem? There’s always room for more ideas at the table.

It is really refreshing that there are churches out there who practice what they preach and truly live out what they believe even when it's hard. Sadly it seems like many church goers simply go to service on Sunday and never do anything to help those in need during the week. I was really touched when I learned of St Lukes because of their strong homeless programs that help so many people every day. I strongly endorse St Lukes as an authentic Christian community and I would happily recommend this church to my friends.
